@sonship saidThat is not personal. That is an insult.
@Rajk999Forget the personal remarks. What about the grace and mercy discussion?
You scared ?
Forget personal remarks except when YOU launch them.
I doubt there is a person here who cannot smell the stench of your hypocrisy. You and KJ are both damn fools trying desperately to twist the teachings of Christ to fit your church nonsense.
You dont know the difference?
Personal is if I say that you do not help the poor.
I dont know about that so I never say that.
I say that you never preach that helping the poor is important
I will say that your doctrine and preaching is flawed.
That is not personal.
I say you are a fool not to preach the teachings and commandments of Christ.
That is not personal but it is an insult.
Telling me about going to church is personal.
You should not care about my personal life.
I dont care about yours and whether you do good works.
Its not my business.
What you preach is my business.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI remember that post but I cannot remember about the # of thumbsdown.
I believe sonship once beat that record with a flippant post about suicide, which apparently Jesus had made obsolete.
Telling me about going to church is personal.
I didn't say "go to church".
If you are a genuine believer then you are an organic part of the church. I said something about you have a custom not to MEET and not to assemble together with other believers.
Check you pride.
Or check that you actually have no love for the Christian brotherhood because you may in fact NOT be a Christian brother.
Perhaps you are a false brother.
Instead of the wheat, maybe you are one of the tares planted with the wheat by the enemy.
You should not care about my personal life.
A gospel preacher who does not care about the personal response to the gospel of those he speaks to ?
I dont care about yours and whether you do good works.
Its not my business.
You care enough to call me a follower of Satan and who is going to the lake of fire.
What you preach is my business.
Would that it were so.
What SHOULD Be your business is what is written in the Bible.
How can you be trusted, who teach that no one YET is born of the Spirit ?
The PAST TENSE is used. John writes that the audience KNOWS that those living Christ out have been begotten of Him - PAST - "BEEN BEGOTTEN".
"If you have known that He is righteous, you know also that everyone who practices righteousness has been begotten of Him." (1 John 2:29)
@rajk999 saidSo you think the subject of God's mercy and grace is devoid of substance?
I have been out of church too long. Must be about 30 years now. You church people have added more nonsense to your doctrine.
You are getting like Cheney3. If you want to start a thread post something of substance. Quote a couple bible passages which contradict what I say and give your opinion. Then there is something to discuss.
As it stands your post is devoid of substance.
You have been out of church for too long. I guess that's why you're to cowardly to tackle the subject.
@sonship saidYes sonship, Rajk is unaware of his spiritual impoverishment. He thinks it's some churchy doctrine.
@SecondSon
The very first of the beatitudes is to be "poor in spirit."
"And opening His mouth, He taught them, saying,
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens." (Matt. 5:2,3)
He is not "poor in spirit". He is rich, self -sufficient. He is not in need of anyone even the Savior Jesus. He is doing quite well ...[text shortened]... it - realizing our shortage, sensing our need, reaching out for God's ear and presence in our heart.
Sad isn't it?
@rajk999 saidI think you're waffling Rajk.
Whatever. Do you have a comment relevant to the opening post started by SS ? Apparently he got cold feet. Care to take over from him? I would love to have a discussion on 'Grace and Mercy'. Lets do it.
Why don't YOU respond to the OP?
I didn't get "cold feet". I've been busy. I'm not trapped in this forum like you are.
@secondson saidNo moron. Your post is devoid of substance.

Cowardly? Do you see how I post?
Take some lessons from me.
I post my opinion
I provide supporting references
I provide some conclusions
You are the coward.
@secondson saidWhat substance did you add?
Thumb counting is your forum contribution. I pay no attention to it.
It's all the substance you can add to the discussion.
@secondson saidGo on, then: EXPLAIN the difference between "MERCY" and "GRACE".
I think you're waffling Rajk.
Why don't YOU respond to the OP?
I didn't get "cold feet". I've been busy. I'm not trapped in this forum like you are.
Alternatively, you are invited to STFU.

@bigdoggproblem saidWhat's up with you BDP? Why the invitation to STFU? Do you have a dog in this fight?

Rajk spews his vitriol against Christians posting in the threads of this forum claiming to know and understand the Bible with total disregard for its precepts relative to the gospel of God's grace by presupposing that we, the Christians posting here, are living in sin because he thinks we don't adhere to the conditions required for salvation that he says are necessary.
As a result of his disdain and contempt, an attitude antithetical to the heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Rajk levels all manner of insults, criticisms, judgments and condemnations, of which, curiously, go ignored by you and others.
By posing the question in the OP in intend to prove Rajk is a fraud and an imposter, and that he does not understand the simplicity of the gospel of God's grace.
You're welcome to attend the discussion, and I will reply in kind based on the merits of your contribution relative to the topic of discussion.
Peace!

First of all you do not start off a thread with insults.
Next if you want a discussion then start it.
Provide some basis on which a discussion can begin.
I suspect the reason why this thread has failed is because like Cheney3, you make it personal and it is designed to insult, rather than discuss.
So I would take BDP's advice if I were you.
