What evidence do you have that this punishment - and therefore the threat of it - is real?
This would be a completely different discussion than eternal suffering and its ethics.

I don't think it was perhaps relevant to what we are saying here.
It was relevant to your hypocrisy and sanctimoniousness.

Your punishment does not exist and the ideology attendant thereto, while it might have been internalized by people who have internalized it, does not hold up to scrutiny.

It elicited this response from me: 'That's a bit rich coming from you. You enjoyed - and touted as the forum-posting-at-its-best - the thousands of obscene paedophilia-themed posts and sexual slurs against spouses of posters in 2018 - by someone trying to be funny - when it suited your unprincipled partisan purposes.'
Yeah, so do you think we're really missing something juicy there?

Do you think I deleted it to hide some fantastic secret?

I have no idea why it's gone.

If you want to talk about the ethics of hell, you have to talk about hell as if it exists as described by the Christians defending its existence, don't you?
If you can make a credible and coherent moral case for what is done to humans there and why they would be sent there, I will most likely start to believe your assertions about the existence of "Hell".

I believe you are lying about this.

Are you literally arguing that you get to turn this discussion into a shell game where I have to cover a thousand different things while you can jump to whatever position is convenient for you in the moment?
Actually, I am only really talking about one thing: the moral coherence of the things you assert. My position is crystal clear and very straight forward. I am not talking about "a thousand different things". There is no "shell game" here.

Heck, you can let me know if you think you know what I had said there. Because, right now, I really don't know what the content was.
You are now claiming that you don't remember the content of your own post from yesterday?
