Asking the right questions to someone who understands the question and how to find the answer is an important tool. The Professor had the knowledge that was necessary. However, there is probably no one here that has the education and knowledge for probing questions to be effective. However, they are just as arrogant as the professor with the Harvard education when it comes to religiously believing in the theory of evolution, which they claim is just "change over time" and of course who can argue that things don't change over time. So to them evolution is a proven fact becasue they not only do not know what the theory of evolution is but they don't know the science either.

He sounded more like a lapsed christian who claimed to become an atheist because of peer pressure and then decided to be a christian again. But he brought nothing new to the 'it cannot be random because it is too complex' argument.

Did come across as a genuinely nice guy though.

He basically said that when his student questioned him on the actual theory of evolution that he had been teaching to his students. He realized that he had been teaching things that did not happen in real science because he knew how the science worked in the real world. That was when he knew he had been teaching a lie about the origin of life and his only alternative was to believe God did it. He knew of no other choice.

so, either he's a fraud or you didn't understand what he was saying. the theory of evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life.

So if one does not have a theory to explain a phenomenon then
it must be "God did it" !?

if one does not have a theory to explain a phenomenon then it must be "my particular understanding of the Christian God did it"

    Severely backslidden ? Perhaps.

Never having been regenerated, never having been more than a nominal cultural Christian ? That's possible too that he was never born again.

How you come to Christ is not that important. That you COME to Christ, that is what is important.

Phillip Johnson on Darwinism - 6 vidoes:

    Lawyer examines assumptions of Evolutionists
Good on defining creationism at the end.
Good on exposing propoganda machine and some Evolutionists' contempt for public.

irrelevant questions. evolution has nothing to do with origin of life. no amount of degrees or phds will change that. your boy is a fraud or you didn't understand a single thing he said. or both.
