I like this passage because it imples that non- Christians who know nothing of CHrist, but do what Christ commanded (because they have a conscience and a good heart), will be considered just on the day of judgment.
Matt 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I think this gets to the heart of the message brought by Jesus. Unfortunately it seems the vast majority of "Christians" choose not to heed His warning.

This is my favorite, it is one of the first that ever really stood out to
me while I was reading it. My favorite part of this verse is where God
shares that God is our very great reward, nothing God has made for
us is greater than God Himself.
Not all translations say like the KJV.

Because here Jesus clearly declare that the father is the only true GOD, he is not GOD, and he is just a massenger sent by him.
