enlighten me.
impart some knowledge
and I mean KNOWLEDGE, something that is KNOWN
educate me O Wise One!
You are like the soldiers who tortured Jesus. It was your job, maybe it was fun for you, maybe it was a compitition between you and your friends.
"Forgive them Father, they know not what they do"

I am not mocking.
There is a lot I do not comprehend.
I am nothing like anyone who would torture anyone and find that rather insulting.
Now go back and answer some questions rather than just replying.

Many of my recent threads have been asking theists to examine
their god. I am by-passing the question of existence and asking
why worship, why do you think he is good, what would make
you stop worshipping etc. All valid questions.
Nobody has had the courage to face them seriously.
Your reply is no different.
The question is nonsensical and blasphemous.
Originally posted by wolfgang59You first asked, "what would make your god imperfect?", and "what would change your opinion of your god?"
No it doesn't.
I have
I answered, "what is known about God comes from God". You answered "no it doesn't". I'm assuming you mean that what is known about God comes from another source.
Like from where? From where else do you learn about God? From listening to other humans? From talking to trees? Do the stars whisper to you in the night?
But all that aside, let's go back to the original question. My answer, apparently,
didn't strike a chord in you. The inference was, since what I know about God comes from God, then it would only be logical that if my opinion of God were to change it would have to be caused by God, and that any other cause would be arbitrary and unreliable.
The same can be said about what is known about God, that it must needs be from God, otherwise the cause or source would be arbitrary and unreliable.
Just trying to get through. What else do you want me to do? Be an ass and argue with you about it? Just sayin'!

How do you faithful deal with this limit on your intellect? It drove me bonkers when I was a Christian, back in the day.
