Do you believe that the Four Horsemen actually exist?

From football? The ones described in the last book of the Bible are metaphorical for the destruction wrought.

We've had 2000 of those. SO when exactly?

Chronologically, the end of the universe will occur within a short time following Christ's millennial reign.
So if 1000 years is one year to God is a millennium 1 year?

All indications point to a number, in terms of reference, if not in terms of specificity. Meaning, a long term of years plural.

Being a pre-millennial dispensationalist, I take the Bible to infer that there is no prophecy within the Church Age. As such, His return is imminent.

As a post-dimensional, non-millenarian Zennist, I think you read the Bible too much like Lord of the Rings, only fer real! 😉

But I love ya anyway, ‘cause in the end, you’re always a gentleman (okay, a bit of a scholar, too...). And perhaps more non-judgmental than I am (okay—probably...).

So, how do you know what is meant metaphorically and what is meant literally in the bible?

They've been saying Christ's return is imminent since right after he died. That seems to be a rather permanent state of imminence. I suppose in another 2,000 years his return will be just as imminent.

Funny thing about getting older .. I hope the end of the world is real soon.
Like within the next 10 years or so.
That's about all I have left (if that) and would love to actually witness "the end."
Complete the cycle and ...
