Again, why does it matter if my life has more meaning than that of a red squirrel?

Also, meaning to who?

My life means a lot more to me than the life of a red squirrels does.
The squirrel might think differently.

Perhaps someone can explain why this has meaning?
' has children' - you have the answer there!

Perhaps it really does have no more meaning than squirrelly the red squirrel.

I can't speak for googlefudge, but the way I see it there's no more meaning to my life
(objectively speaking) than that of your red squirrel. Does that disturb you?

No not at all, in the system which we find ourselves life is terribly transient, its almost like hello and goodbye.

First off, Meaning is a product of minds, and meaning only has relevance to minds.

To my mind, my life has more meaning than a squirrels does. Because I imbue my
life with more meaning than I imbue the life of a squirrel with.

Whether the squirrel is capable of imbuing it's life with meaning, from it's perspective,
is a question I don't know the answer to. I've never experienced being a squirrel.
I'm guessing not, but I could be wrong.

But again, WHY DOES IT MATTER?

You asked the question, you must have had a reason why you asked it.

What difference does it make?

And to whom does it make a difference?

Plants have no minds [at least, none of the plants we know have minds] and
thus cannot give anything meaning.

Plants can mean things to beings with minds, but they have no meanings themselves.

but imagine you could jump up trees like spiderman, leap from branch to branch, have pretty girls feeding you nuts in the park saying how cute you are etc thats pretty sweet.

Gee i dunno googly one if it does have more meaning, the squirrel may see it differently and then where are we at. why does it matter? because its good to think about life and meaning i suppose.

Squirrels' lives have meaning, robbie. Squirrels care about their kids. They take pride in the nuts they collect.

And you can't take that away from them. *crying, angry smiley*
