Why do human beings who are so limited in ability Not want to even have fellowship with God as a son or daughter?
Why do human beings refuse eternal life?
Why do human beings choose evil over God on purpose?

Who says there is an eternal life? I've never heard of anyone enjoyed eternal life.
"Why do human beings choose evil over God on purpose?"
Why do people choose to believe in a supernatural being? Because they want to? Or because they have been told so to avoid the eternal punishment?
I rather believe in Santa, because he gives me presents every christmas. Your god doesn't do that.

It is a mystery. 🙄

Have you ever met anyone that:
1. Does not want to have fellowship with God as a son or daughter?
2. Refused eternal life?
3. Chose evil over God on purpose?

Prove that that god is good and not evil.
Prove that human beings can have eternal life.
Then prove that that eternal life is a pleasant and desirable place to be
for an infinite amount of time.
Then prove that we do have a choice of having an eternal life spent with
a good god that is desirable.
And THEN if you can do all of the above, you can start asking why people
might turn it down IF after all the above people still do.
Until then.
There is no rational reason to suppose that god/s exist, or that an afterlife
of any kind exists [eternal or otherwise].
And thus there is no reason to suppose that the options you claim people are
rejecting actually exist.

The answers become quite clear.

And to believe is to be vulnerable.

And to believe is to be vulnerable.
And to believe is to be vulnerable.
Assuming just for a moment that this is true...
Why is "being vulnerable" in and of itself a good thing?

But my point was that atheists see it as a thing to be feared.
