The dipshiits don't get it.
Doing good works...ALL Christians agree.
***Rajk believes good works gets one to Heaven**** even if one cares less about God.
***True Christian, loves Jesus and wants to do good works.
FMF doesn't count, for he dumped Jesus.
Dive doesn't count, his ego along with his absence of proof he's a Christian makes him void.
-Removed-As you know, and as I have always believed, Christianity is a code for living, a template for living one's life as an individual and as a member of communities - as laid out by Jesus - or it is nothing.
If it doesn't have a practical application and a tangible effect on how one lives one's life, then it is little more than convoluted self-centred technocratic meaningless [to me anyway] although I appreciate that it plays a role in giving people purpose and solace.
The "practical application and tangible effect on how one lives one's life" is "faith" in action.
As it happens, the notion of "salvation" is meaningless and irrelevant to me. But I think the Christian "code for living" is - for the most part - an excellent template for mankind.
@fmf saidThen how can you be SO stupid as to accuse Christians on this forum of anything less?

The issue of good works, regarding debate, is where it falls with salvation.

How can there be "salvation" - according to the Bible - without following Jesus [i.e. obeying His commandments and doing good works]?
