I've seen 67 of the movies on this list (actually I counted 33 I did not see), and not only is my faith extremely important to me but I can also say that whether or not I watch an R-rated movie has nothing to do with my faith, or my perception of it. It seems that whoever did this research not only jumped to some conclusions that do not seem altogether warranted, but it seems they must have started with a biased supposition to begin with. As far as the article goes, I found the first and second sentences of the article somewhat at odds with each other, meaning I find very little correlation between them.

Originally posted by Great King RatIn fairness, if you are examining a theory which sounds fishy at face value, and then the quoted examples not only do not resonate, but seem totally at odds with your own experiences, you are not very likely to look deeper, are you?

On the contrary, I'd think if it seems totally at odds with your own experiences (and the subject is important to you) you'd become more interested to find out just what the hell the author is talking about.
Next to that, Suzianne jumps to unwarranted conclusions and seems to have started from a biased supposition thus doing exactly that which she accuses the author(s) of doing.

It is contrary to what God says, it dishes out fears in buckets, and a Christian should watch very little of the garbage that comes across the TV and the theater.
As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Why fill the mind with fear and doubt?
