But that makes all the rest of us who have hit our own thumbs with hammers idiots. That's not making me want to buy a book. I want to feel superior when I read, or else my $12.99 stays on my card.

Basically, there was a reason the catholic church didn't want the common people to be able to read the book and Martin Luther was too big an idiot to comprehend this fact.

Maybe he just wanted to lead a revolution and didn't care that the faith was harmed overall in the long run. That would make him selfish, but not necessarily an idiot.

Why don't they care if the common people can read the Holy Bible now? They still get money from them.
