@liljo saidI don't hate or dislike you because you are a heterosexual white male. In U.S. culture, is there a cultural "war" on non-heterosexual sexuality? Are those who believe there is a "war on masculinity" generally tolerant of non-heterosexual people?
All I have to do is post that I am a heterosexual white male, and I will be immediately disliked or hated by many (very tolerant of course) liberals of every sexual persuasion.
@liljo saidMaybe stay out of forums filled with people posting hate about white hetro males.

But there's no war on masculinity...Oh, of course not!
@fmf saidIs there a “War on Masculinity” ongoing in the U.S.? A: I don't think so.

If so, according to your beliefs, what should be done to resist such a "war"?
If not, according to your beliefs, what should be done about such claims in the public domain?
If so, according to your beliefs, what should be done to resist such a "war"? A: Not applicable, since I don't believe such a war exists.
If not, according to your beliefs, what should be done about such claims in the public domain? A: Ignore them and carry on with your life. People can claim anything they want, but false claims have a strong tendency to fade away with time.
War on Masculinity? Kind of...
More like a negative transition towards beta male attitudes and features than an actual war against masculinity.
I grew up in the last days of "big, strong and powerful" being the unconscious goal of young men.
I am still that way because I was raised that way.
Now young men are content with being frail and weak and effeminate.
They don't even care that they are that way.
Two things that come to mind that may have caused the shift being the internet with gaming and social media which does not require any strength or power so why bother and currently the whole idea that being big and strong and masculine puts you in the labeled "white racist, conquering oaf from yesteryear" category.
@chessataxia saidWhen was that? Surely not in the 60's when the hippie movement glorified long-haired men talking about "love and peace".
I grew up in the last days of "big, strong and powerful" being the unconscious goal of young men.
Surely not the 70's when disco birthed the rise of gay subcultures and glam-rock bands like Queen were the most popular artists?
Surely not the 80's when hair metal bands ruled, men wore tight pants and the most popular artist in the world was the high-pitched, effeminate, Michael Jackson?
When exactly was your "big strong and powerful" decade? Was it the 50s when the biggest stars were men who twirled and danced like Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire?
@mchill saidI wonder if you would still be saying this if Mr Carlson or Mr DeSantis were making a run for president. 🙂

@vivify
I grew up in the 90's and you're assuming I am American which I am not.
Where I grew up kids, including myself, played sports as much as possible and we knew healthy food and training made you big and strong.
Due to lack of talent to make anything of it I ended up being a gym bum lifting for size and strength. I still do to this day.
I haven't seen kids playing sports on the street or in a field in about 20 years.
Because of that we now have a majority of young men being tiny and frail beta males.
@chessataxia saidWhat country did you grow up in?
