If we're talking about the FIFA world cup, then no. If we're talking about world cups in general, then you need to include all sports and all genders where a world cup is contested.

How come the FIFA women's world cup doesn't count?

France 1
Norway 1
England 1
doesnt count, women arent included, they should not be kicking footballs, they should be at home perparing my dinner, ironing my shirt and making themselves look good for when i come home after a 8 hour drinking session
I agree! Count up all the soccer world cups and let's see who's on top. Thank goodness I don't care so much to do it myself. Maybe Red will help us out again?

I don't disagree with this statement. I left out the U-20 because it is played every other year and I was concerned it would skew the numbers. Argentina has won a bunch.
I disagree with rhb and those who think we should include other sports as well. I'm not really interested in every event that calls itself the World Cup, only soccer World Cups at this point.
Originally posted by rhb I applaud RN in advance of this huge undertaking.
No problem rhb...glad to be of service to soccer fans around the world.

Saudi Arabia 1
