Whilst I'm happy for all you Derby County fans, I'm afraid your stay in The Premiership will be short-lived when I see that you've taken Claude Davis off our hands...

The bloke is a waste of space as a central defender... his direction on headers leads me to believe he has a square head, and anything he does with the ball on the deck usually results with his backside on the turf.

Good luck... you'll need it with Claude at the back!

Wishful thinking has me wanting Saints back up next year and Pompey back down. Oh for the Dell Days.

Southampton has one of the best academies around.. e.x. Walcott, Bale.. but you know if they can't win promotion 🙁 they missed really golden chance this year. Yeah, actually I'd rather see So'to up than Pompey..

By all accounts Billy got the best out of Claude at Preston, and expects to do the same at Derby. We'll struggle for sure, but it won't be for one player, it'll be the lack of strength and depth in the squad overall. Still, we're up there in the prem and it's cleared much of the club debt.

I hope they go down. Sacking Coleman was ridiculous. Bringing in hoof-it-high Sanchez shows their ambition.

Yep and young Martin Cranie who got snaffled by turncoat Redknapp at Pompey..

Sounds like a like-for-like replacement for Darren Moore...

Yeah, I do agree with your points (except them being relegated). Coleman was hard done by and I really hope he succeeds big time with Real Sociedad.

I don't really know much about Sanchez but I have heard a lot of criticism that he plays long ball stuff and bypasses the midfield. I sure hope not.

Well over 6 months since I donned my Nostradamus hat...

Derby have changed managers since and are still doomed!

On the contrary, back to back points in the last 2 games suggests we've turned the corner.

There's always one candidate each season for "the great escape" and this season it is to be the MIGHTY Rams. Mark my words.
