Basketball is another popular sport here in the US. I think baseball is on its way out.
Where did you get the 172 million from
The most I found was 114 million

I gave the link, but 114 would still work.

    Ah, OK, champ

But, to state the obvious, it is another 'here's how much I won' AFTER the event

Before, it was a treble. In a treble, 2 out of 3 is 'close but no cigar'

Stick the next set up when you're ready

I gave you the tips POB. If you're down the pub to watch 3 games of footy and your bet gets beaten in the first leg what do you do? Daaaaah

Do you need me to bottle feed you as well. Anyway, who cares what you think. The wallets bulging and you're still whining. Mission accomplished.

New set of tips out Friday. More money to be made. If you want in on the action be polite and appreciative. These tips are gold.

Did you see the mighty Aussies rugby league team dismantle England in the rugby league world cup. Great game !!!
Did you see the U.S. get whipped?
Why do they even have a team?

Aussies look unstoppable playing in 2nd gear.
So many defections should make for some good games

Great question, why does the US have either a rugby team or a soccer team?

Maybe women's sports, but not men's.

Most women's teams would thrash the USA mens teams.

What he saying is that real men's sports are played by their women over there and the real feminine sports are played by their men.

Their men are scared of getting hurt. They're all pussies. The women however show a bit of ticker.

The US diverts large sums of money into women's athletics to the detriment to men's athletics.

The biggest certainties of the weekend. Fiji will win by 60+ against Wales (not sure where you got Samoa from).

I think they will be the surprise package of the competition and may sneak into the semi finals ahead of PNG and Tonga.

    My other selections

Australia -56.5. Will murder the frogs
NZ -45.5 against Scotland. Again, the Bravehearts will be murdered again
Tonga -11.5. Will beat Samoa by a lot more than that
Lebanon have +30.5 against England. Should be enough. Back Lebanon with the start
The USA have +20.5 against Italy. I look at Italy and they are far superior to the USA however there is a lot of disharmony in the team and the USA did play with a bit of ticker (no skill however). Probably a lottery and will leave this alone but pushed to make a tip I'll say the USA with +20.5.
PNG V Ireland with +16.5 is also a lottery. On paper PNG should kill them but Ireland were the revelations in the first round. Pushed I'll say Ireland with +16.5 but will probably leave this game out.
Fiji plays Wales with +44.5. This will be a slaughter. Fiji are certainties giving the start.

I will let you know my tips (doubles trebles etc) on Friday.

    Happy punting my friend !!!

So what's your thoughts on the games ?

See any standouts (taking the handicap into consideration) ?
