That is because he is worth more than the entire team.

As for the Reds, it seems they won the series.

Choo was a nice addition. They certainly would not have won the series without him.

😠 They have a better shot at the playoffs this year than the past few years, just watch +500 record come September.

MLB needs to implement a "mercy rule" if the Reds are going to be this good; why embarrass the Washington National players and their parents like Friday night?

They won't be "that good" every night.
The Nationals won't be "that bad" every night.

Too bad they didn't get to feed Cincy Strasberg and Gonzales.
Then the Reds would have been more timid like they were against Weaver.

Nats put up 5 bombs of their own today and beat the Reds.

    Detweiler owned the Reds.

Blew a 5-1 lead in the eighth though; the Nats D was pretty bad.

Cueto v. Strasburg today. Pull up a chair and a 12 pack of Stella.

I tip my hat to the Reds. They beat Strasburg, and not many will.
Washington got to Cueto a bit, but the Reds won it when they got to Strasburg a second time in the 6th inning.

The ump was tough today on both pitchers. Washington's shaky defense cost them the game.

All I can say is that I'm in hog heaven!!

My main concern is Votto. Is he still hurt? I can only imagine what this team would be doing right now if he plays like he did before he got injured last year.

The scary thing is that even though he seems to be struggling a little they have won 2 series now against some of the best teams in baseball.

I think JV is fine health wise. He's struggling a bit though he did have a game winning hit in the Angel series and a big triple on Saturday. Opposing pitchers seem to think he's healthy; they've walked him 8 times already in just 6 games.
