I quite like the enlgish (at least in premier league games) and the dutch commentators. If these don't do it for you then go to a chinese channel, at least you won't know the nonsense they are babbling.
The English are terrible. 😕

FACT!

But, truth be told, I have yet to find some good commentators. Maybe the French commentators are the least bad.
itv have the worse commentators, i'd prefer to listen to the argentine "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!" than listen to those morons. i've always liked rte's sporting coverage.

Really? I thought they were fun, but then again all I watch is match of the day so...

Good opening match. Nice goal by South Africa. Draw was expected and a good result for the home team. Mexico must feel a little bad by not being able to bag this one.

Don't agree a draw was a good result for SA. Now they will have to win against either France or Uruguay in order to progress, which is very difficult to see happening.

The draw was bad for both teams obviously - they had more chance to progress if both had won.

Of course that is true, but as Mexico is a much better team, South Africa should feel lucky that they didn't lose. I don't see South Africa progressing anyway.

EDIT: And stop blowing those f***ing horns already. There are really no point in them except getting people all over the world really, really annoyed.

It's been years since I've seen him play but Cisse's hair is still terrible.

EDIT -- OOps, it's not Cisse.

They all look alike.... football players, that is.

Those horns are annoying.

France-Uruguay is a scoreless tie, Though Uruguay played the last 10 minutes with 10 men on the field.

Terrible game. I'm hoping for SA to go through. I haven't decided on the 2nd qualifier though...

It was disappointing, I agree.

I'm trying to work out why the French had such a great team but played so badly and all I can think of is the discombobulating noise of the vuvuzelas.

I would even go so far as to say that England might have a disadvantage against Team America tomorrow because of this, as The World Police have played quite a few matches with the noise (confed cup last year) and England are still vuvu virgins.

It could of course have something to do with the new ball.
