You all have a point, a bit of an overreaction on my part, mea culpa. But our paper routes and lemonade stands were not to support our parents, who sent us out into the world to make money. I encouraged my kids to earn money, that was the vehicle. I did not wait for them to bring me their earned money. I should at least get a Bminus for bringing this immigrant practice to the fore!!!!

Didn't you teach your kids to share what they had with those less fortunate? No, I guess you didn't.

I worked in the family business as a kid. Never occurred to me that I should have demanded to keep all the money I was paid by the customers.

I didn't think he was badger, but if anything he was worse. Glad he's gone.

I do get very tired of people who behave badly enough to get evicted, then come back again and again under different names. I prefer people with familiar faces (even battered or disguised ones) to masked ones. And before anyone decides to accuse me of racism or religionism, I'm thinking of full-face bike helmets and ski-masks.

Phranny regularly starts threads with an article written by Heather Cox Richardson, and normally attributes the article. Obviously a simple oversight in this case, as all regular readers would know.
Try voicing "phranny" and the first name that comes to mind is Fran, Frances (female names) and Francis (male name) so it's not certain that the poster is female, but given the poster's non-aggressive posture it's more likely that they're female.

You have two choices. Mess around with names and genders and insults and in the process destroy the purpose of the thread - that's trolling. Or treat other posters civilly and refuse to engage in rubbish posting - that's adult behaviour. Over to you.
