Do you know how many recs any members of our clan gave and to who? I don't.

I thought the thread was supposed to close after Noodles' line? Did Russ miss his cue again? Damn prima donna!

Reccs suck. I'd be happy if they went away.
Strange how this wasn't your view when you had one of the fewest amounts of recs in the forums.

In a further effort to make the forum post recommendation system more effective, all 'recommendation' data has been reset, and now forum recommendations are now limited to 10 in a 30 day period for a particular user. (This remains a subscriber only feature, to prevent abuse).

Rec Whore!

Why are the admin continuing to pander to the whims of a small vocal minority who have assumed a position purely to annoy the rest of us? Looking at the recommended section, there were some good and some not so good (can't please all of the people all of the time) posts.

Would your time not be better spent trying to fix the debates forum?

Well, the list of recommended posts of the week is back, and it's still possible to give wrecks. So the system is still in place, and it should work better than before because the personal wreck count isn't shown anymore, which will make wreck whoring less attractive. I am happy about this change, which has been suggested repeatedly for a long time.

Oh, Russ, you should add a feature that impedes people
from the same clan rec each other's post. That would solve
problems, specially in the bottom *wink wink*

I think Russ has just solved the problem.

It seems that total reccs for a user are no longer displayed.

Great move! Well done, Russ!

Now all remains is the move count to build up some credit and get some honour up here...?

This time, I think I actually agree with you.

Thanks orfeo. But don't say it too loud.

10 per month is way too few. Some people don't use them at all, so it seems like plenty. I use them and used up my quota fairly quickly, maybe within a week.

The recommended section is going to be even more rubbish now with pages of posts with 1 rec, which helps nobody.

Make the limit 7 per week.
