@Russ
Change is good of course, but I always take time to get used to it!
Immediately I noticed that the icons indicating taken material from each side are no longer positioned above & below each other.
Now the icons are some distance apart horizontally, it is not so easy to compare what I've lost with what my opponent has lost.
Just putting this out there to see what others think. It might be only me being old and set in my ways.
@dm7 saidYou can toggle this in the board settings, check the blog post for more details.

@the-grifter
When moving the "Max board size" slider, you must release the slider to see the change. The board does go smaller than your current setting.
@Russ
On the "Analyze" screen (not the main board), there used to be a way to flip the board, I don't see that now. Am I missing something or was it removed?
@BluesChord saidAre you on mobile/ipad?

@Russ
I see how it works but the problem is I have a small 9 inch chrome screen and at the smallest it leaves part of the top and bottom ranks partly hidden. have to move the board to see the whole board.
no way to offer an even smaller board size ?
otherwise, I really like your new site.
@the-grifter saidYes, it is possible - I never believed anyone would require smaller! I'll follow this up later.

@cawsddyn saidTurn off in Board Settings > Show Legal Moves
When you pick up a piece, it highlights the squares it can go to in green: I find that distracting. is there a way to turn it off?
Take a quick look at the blog post linked at the top of the thread for more options.
@BluesChord saidDo you not see the 'invert' icon at the top right of the board? Perhaps you missed it as it is lighter in color until your mouse hovers over it? Let me know if that is the case.
@Russ
no on a pc
