@BluesChord saidAh, that explains. I can reproduce this is dark-mode too - it is there but barely visible. I'll get a fix up for that too.
@Russ
no I'm not seeing it. My board is set to dark mode, maybe if I lighten it
@the-grifter saidIn your board settings, you can now take the board two steps smaller. (288px*288px approx)
the board does not resize to a smaller board when you use the green resize line.
If this doesn't solve your issue, then I suspect there is another problem here, as this is really very small indeed!
@fish-bag saidIt Is still there. Which browser are you using? Version too please.
Is the option for 'drag and drop' gone completely? Clicking on the 'from' and 'to' squares is still the same, but if I grab a piece and hold onto it while making a move, my piece doesn't travel with the cursor. It remains on the original square until the new square is determined.
Edit ' and which OS too.
Firefox Android App Version: 143.0.3 on a Chromebook. Its just out of habit - maybe I'll try another browser instead. Thanks for your quick reply!
Edit: yes, that's it. The board and pieces still behave the same as before with the Chrome browser.
Another edit: either you did something super quickly, or closing and reopening the game windows fixed it in Ff also. Probably something similar to the common 'clear your cache' suggestion. Thanks again for your attention and work.
@BluesChord saidThis has now been fixed, so now visible on dark mode too. As an extra benefit, other icons have been changed too to become more visible on dark mode - all tabs and site settings.
@Russ
On the "Analyze" screen (not the main board), there used to be a way to flip the board, I don't see that now. Am I missing something or was it removed?
Dark mode in general still needs a lot more attention though.
@Russ
The UI changes are overall fine, but would you please consider eventually adding an option to return the next/previous move navigation buttons under the analyze interface to the upper-right area where they existed before? I'm probably not the only one suffering from several years of muscle memory at the moment, haha.
@JMM saidShort answer : Yes.

Long answer : During the beta, it was requested to move them to under the board, which is better placed for mobile use. I'll look at shifting them based on the device being used, as it is inconsistent right now on web.
I play in landscape mode in browser on a tablet. Regardless of how small I make the board, there is a ton of white space below the board then the captured piece display. Only the top line of the captured piece display shows without scrolling that extra quarter-inch. If I use the “compact captured piece” setting, then somehow NEITHER show up without scrolling. Super annoying; I’m sure I am missing something, but can someone tell me what it is?
@Odinson saidThe captured material currently always sits at the bottom of the display - changing the board size will not change that - but they should not be offscreen.

Which device are you using? (Model type/year if possible, too?)
edit : Do you prefer to use a smaller board, or are you just testing why the captured material is not displaying?
