That site admin chooses to look the other way does not equate to no wrongdoing !!

It has been said from the outset that the clan system is very loose and informal.

The complaining started long before this year.
By Carrobie, McTayto and others when Metallica was highly successful year after year.
And let me be abundantly clear here !!
Metallica is highly successful once again this year !!
We are on pace to match last year's total in spite of changes put in by site admin that has created headwinds for every clan.

Carrobie and McTayto have been on record many times as saying that Easy Riders has beaten Metallica at their own game.
And since they have been throwing accusations of cheating at Metallica for years, that means the "game" they are talking about is CHEATING.
That is an admission if I ever saw one !!

There is only one problem here.
Metallica has never cheated !! Period !!

That adds up to one thing.
Carrobie and cohorts have abused the clan system this year because they have been saddled with their collective obsession with Metallica for years !!

I would also like to state the following. I speak for myself only.
I will not leave the site because of this.
These clowns don't ruin my day by any stretch of the imagination !!

But I do care about this feature and will voice my concerns over what has been going on here.

Site admin has their reasons for sitting on their hands over this fiasco.
I don't know what they are.
Maybe they don't want to get into a cycle of points rollback.
They do have other pressing concerns.
Maybe they themselves want Metallica to lose once in a while
One clan winning all the time is bad for business. 😀

But what has happened here is not just at the expense of Metallica.
It is a slap in the face of every clan that is in contention this year.

And it corrupts the history of the clan records.
It bugs me to see Strategic Ultimatum in 2nd place in 2015.
It insults the clans that finished behind them.

As for 2017 ??
I think the changes put in this year have partially solved the issue.
Metallica has outperformed Easy Riders since the enhancements have gone in.
But even so Easy Riders continue to gather points from 3 clans, even if the challenges appear to give the appearance of being competitive.
A few players are giving Easy Riders just enough free games to put them over the top.
I am not being fooled by these "close" challenges.
I see enough resigned games by McTayto and Vespin to get the drift.

Easy Riders may be at the top of the clan tables at year end.
But they will fully deserve the asterisk beside their name !!
