I felt it was unjust when he removed 200 point from games that were decided, but he did so. Now, in a similar scenario, his refusal to act is one of selective enforcement.
Has Russ ever said or implied that collusion is against the rules? How can clans such as anti-metallica and breaking bad feed points to the Easy Riders if there is a 200 rating point parameter rule? Surely the Easy Riders must earn every point from now on.
I just want to add that it is quite alarming how hostile some people in this thread are. Anyone who questions the status quo must have some hidden agenda right? Some of you guys are fanatics. My favorite post is the one that said I need professional psychiatric help for not sharing his opinion.

The reason ?
2 clans, let's just call them clan A and clan B.
The 2 clans set up a bunch of challenges between themselves.
Then one clan wins all the challenges. Surprise !!
As you stated, there is no specific rule on this site
that labels this practice as cheating.
Nonetheless, site administration was compelled to step in and
issue suspensions to the 2 clans involved.
This was necessary to protect the integrity of the feature provided to the members.
At cost to developers of this site.
And to protect he integrity of this site.
The clan system, admittedly, is rather loose and casual.
Therefore, any punitive action taken by site administration
will be adhoc in nature. But necessary.
To prevent certain individuals, with their own agendas,
from making a mockery of this site and the features
the site administration go to considerable lengths to provide
paying subscribers.
While you won't find any specific rules violations,
sometimes you just have to go with the motto ....
Where there is smoke, there is fire.
Now this practice is being repeated this year between 3 clans,
with a slightly different twist.
As a result, the leading clan so far this year has accumulated 200-300 points from this practice.
And there are quite a few individuals on this site trying to have this rectified.
This clan has made a mockery of the clan feature.
And stating that no rules have been broken does not accurately
shed light on what is going on.
Note that your first post in this thread attracted a bandwagon jumper (Carrobie).
If you had put this post out 2-3 years ago,
you wouldn't have gotten the same response from this individual.
That being said, I do respect and appreciate the thought
you put into your posts.
And that's what this forum is precisely for.
