You must LOVE this thread, a regular ultrarightwingnut PLAZA.

Next you will no doubt REpuke the crap Vance and Trump already puked out, HATIANS eating cats and dogs, and redoubling that crap when they knew BEFORE the debate it was just plain BULLSHYTTE but thought they could get Anti American hate going just by lying about it and saying at all his sickening rallies.
Now Trump wants to actually show up in Springfield to rile them up even further but the REPUBLICAN governor AND Mayor of Springfield BOTH said STAY AWAY ASSSHOLE.
They may have said FUUKHEAD but not sure.
And OF COURSE you think there is nothing wrong with a presidential candidate to have ZERO talks about actual policy, instead, mouthing BUULLSHHYTE EVERY DAY. And that would be because he HAS no policy.
At the debate, What is your plan for health care, and his answer, which you probably missed or ignored, 'I have a CONCEPT for a plan' UNFUUKING QUOTE'.
When a dude goes to the Georgia secretary of state and says FIND ME 12,000 votes so he can overturn the already decided election there, what in the HELL kind of justification do you find to decide, HE is the one for me, he will make a FINE president. Just those two issues I talked about NOTHING ELSE.
Why can you accept that kind of thing and still vote for him?

Look again, The so-called border bill directed only 20% of the money to go to the Border.
You know that, I know that, Suzanne knows that, everybody knows that,.
Certainly, you can agree that with the hell that Biden has laid out at the border, the Republicans would be all over getting 100% of that money and getting those people the hell out of our country
Right. Republicans wrote it. The issues you raise are the things that get fixed as you bring a bill to the floor for debate and discussion. Figure out what works for all members of Congress. Finalize the bill and then vote.

Instead nothing. They won't discuss it. They do nothing. Yet you say they're for it? The speaker could easily have this rewritten and brought to vote.

Well I guess they did this other thing, which probably won't do anything because we already deport illegals who are sex offenders.

For all the non-right-wing people here: is this really worth attacking?

I could understand if this bill had something sinister hidden in it, but I couldn't find anything objectionable. If any of you do, let me know.

So far, there seems to be no reason not to support it.

It is redundant with existing law.

We have a Republican presidential candidate who was convicted sex crimes involving E. Jean Carroll - but I guess we're not supposed to talk about that, are we Joe? 😏
exactly what date did that crime occur?

Yes. I agree.

But again: does that make it worth fighting against?

No, I agree they all should have voted for it.

Maybe they didn't like that Republicans are using it to imply that this kind of criminal activity is frequent and unenforced?

Now let me ask the right wingers:

Migrants are already deported for sex crimes or denied entry for them.

Republicans: why is it so important to you to pass a bill for something there are already laws for?

That's quite likely.

Republicans are desperate for some kind of ammo. If Dems vote for the bill they can use this as a tacit admission there's a large-scale problem with migrant crime.

It's kind of brilliant, really. It's a damn if you do, damned if you don't situation.

But Dems need to pick their battles, especially so close to an election. This just seems dumb. Give the Republicans their silly bill that doesn't change anything instead of giving them fuel for propaganda.

"The news last week that federal authorities had to release 2,837 convicted sex offenders back onto the streets has renewed focus on a Supreme Court case that requires the government to release immigrants whose home countries won’t take them back.

A report released last week by the Government Accountability Office said the nearly 3,000 sex offenders are part of the 59,347 immigrants who the courts have ruled cannot be held, whom the U.S. has been unable to send home, and who instead were released under some sort of supervision as of September 2012.

The GAO took a sample of the sex offender cases and concluded that about 5 percent of the time U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement didn’t ensure that the immigrants released were properly registered with local authorities as sex offenders."
