eeuhm.....

Isn't it quite normal to answer all those questions with "no"

=)
Do you know that you know nothing?
Yes

What's the point in asking questions if you provide the answers yourself?
Sounds like close-mindedness to me...

Those were truthful answers given by an athiest when asked those questions...

Yes, I've thought about that possibility. And rejected it.

Who may I ask was it? Might I suggest that he is an athoughtist rather than an atheist,...

He claimed to be an athiest... Well, I don't know what else you call someone that doesn't believe in the existence of God...

My answers would be no, no and yes.
I sat through 5 years of 3 times weekly chapel services. How could I not consider the fact that God exists.
Although I'm not a true atheist. More of an agnostic.

So, you're using one example (which we may or may not believe to be real) to illustrate your argument?
That doesn't seem to be a typical atheist answer judging by the replies you've got.
I give no, unlikely and yes.

I would give:

1) No way, thankfully
2) I sincerely doubt it
3) Of course, but I think it unlikely

An atheist is someone who says he knows there is no God. But you can't know that for sure, because you would have to know all things in order to know if there is or isn't a God. If you knew all things then you would be God. So, the only thing you could be is an agnostic, not an atheist. An agnostic says he doesn't know if there is or isn't a God.

No. An atheist is someone who believes there is no god.
You can't know there's no god, just as you can't know there is a god.

O.K. You are an agnostic. So you don't know if there is or isn't a God? You say that you also went to church? Would you like to explain to me how the prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New? The Bible is unique in that way and only God can make prophecies that are 100% accurate. Would you like to explain to me how that could be done if there is no God?

I think my answers might be,

1) Yes!
2) Of course, that's implied by my first answer.
3) Are you not listening to me, there's nothing I don't know.

I guess that makes me very arrogant; or God. I don't believe I am God because I'm sure he'd be nearer the top of the RHP Player Table, so I guess I'll settle for arrogant.
