Apparently it's impossible to debate whether or not God exists - i ...[text shortened]... political context would of course be tolerated - if grudgingly).

Erm, anyone agree?

Rich.
Are you saying, that only those that are unbelievers, have freedom of speech. Unbelievers say what they want, where they want, and that is all good. But those that believe in GOD can speak only in certain forums? hmmmmm. Is that simular to that special spot that GOD has picked out for unbelievers?

You miss the point. If believers never said anything, then non-believers would never have cause to say anything either. So if you never bothered anyone with your preaching, then the topic would just go away. Non-believers only feel the need to speak up in response to the preaching of believers.

Right. And I have some land in Florida with a bridge that lands on Manhatten.

Non-believers are much more devout than believers. As far as I can tell. But I'm in a perpetual state of confusion and wonder.

The thing about non-believers is that they feel more confidence in their dogma. They are safe. And they show it. But... a religion is still a religion. All the qualities of "religiousness" apply to "non-believers".

They "know" for sure. They have "no doubt". Wouldn't it be wonderful?

To understand all of physics based on faith? As non-believers do?

I know that THE WORD OF GOD is true.(period) Unbelievers were so sure in their unbelief... then there would not be the name calling that some like to do.Me personally,it does not matter, for I know that THE WORD OF GOD stands true.

I'm glad for you.

I think.

I wonder how you got to where you are.

Must be a wonderful thing to know all things. And still be human.

Wonderful. For you. I wish I could do that.

Just as I envy the non-believers their perfect knowledge. Surety. Safe passage through reality.

Good on you both?

Only GOD knows everything I just know that GOD's salvation offer is true,as true as HIS WORD.

Then why does God ask Cain where his brother is?

And I believe you.

And I am happy for you. I guess.

I say this in all sincerity. Good on you.

I guess.

GOD gave Cain the the opportunity to fess up.Adam and Eve had the same opportunity, to confess what they had done as well.If there had been confession by man, things may have been different.

Alas.

Had they only known what they had done. But they didn't. They went before the whip into evolution. Poor things.

Nope, I'm not. By that argument the chess and site ideas forums would also be busy eroding the free speech of their users. All I was saying is that the debates forum has become swamped with religious argument after religious argument, or rather religious slanging match after religious slanging match, and for many of us it's all profoundly boring. And that goes for the threads begun by fervent atheists as much as to the preaching of the God squad. Surely you'd all be so much happier if you were given your own little space to shriek at each other in?

Rich.

With all due respect, if this be the case, I cannot tell the difference between God and what my parents told me.
