@no1marauder saidHello Maruader. You say this below. Please see the link folloeing.
This is typical right wing drivel; all progress is due to just a few rich men and we all must grovel at their feet and give all the power and most of society's wealth their greatness.
A few hundred years ago, they trembled before kings and aristocrats, now it's rich guys even if they gained their wealth by inheritance (as most do) or fraud. The rest of us are always expendable in this view.
"...rich guys even if they gained their wealth by inheritance (as most do) or fraud".
You are wrong, now sue will tell all her friends this at her knitting class, and they will spread this falsehood. Tsk Tsk

The dawning of this new Golden Age may bring along some rich, who will enrich their families, who will be those pesky heirs, and the numbers could change.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidDo you know the origin of the term "right wing" and "left wing"?
is this true in your view of both dem and republican?
True, there's a corporatist wing of the Democratic Party but even they don't kiss the posterior of the wealthy like the Republicans have for a 100 years or so.
@AverageJoe1 saidYour article and its flawed research are 10 years old. Here's the recent data:

"“This year’s report found that the majority of billionaires that accumulated wealth in the last year, did so through inheritance as opposed to entrepreneurship. This is a theme we expect to see more of over the next 20 years, as more than 1,000 billionaires pass an estimated USD 5.2 trillion to their children,” said Benjamin Cavalli, Head of Strategic Clients at UBS Global Wealth Management."

This says that UP UNTIL now, (250 years??) the populace earned their wealth. Not much inheritance, and maybe it picked up after the Depression, I have no idea. But we can be sure the Sweat-of the Brow led the day for people growing their wealth.
Then along came more good fortune, inheritances began to pass on down the line, and then Average Joe tells the world that "....(heirship) numbers could change." Meaning, more heirs exist than there have been, due to the richer times we live in, resulting in more prolific passing of wealth to heirs. Do y'all hate heirs?
So, the date of the article that the Artful Dodger has dug up is quite irrelevant. It could have been written in 1958. Geez.
Did this really call for TWO links? Have you read about Trump getting $500B investment to cure the cancer of your friends?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidCapitalism=good
explain the difference
Oligarchy=bad
My opinion, if a billionaire is still sticking his hand out asking the government for more free money, or working inside the government to squash competition and deregulate their own industry, he should be deported before the strawberry-pickers.
@wildgrass saidYou want some entertainment,, ask Marauder if Capitalism is good or bad

I guarantee you that if a study is taken as to which is the happiest group of people, the repubs or the dems, it would be the repubs, And I mean during any period of time, not just that we won yesterday.
Ha, I googled it!

@wildgrass saidIf money is made available from a government, which is money that would help you grow a business and hire thousands of people, you would probably take the money. Are you suggesting that you would not take the money? Anyway, no I have no ire about that at all, to answer your question. These programs have worked for hundreds of years to make us the greatest country in the world. I think Shav and Zhalanzi they have the greatest countries in the world.

If money is made available from a government...
Forgot to write taxpayer funds. The taxpayer funds should NOT be made available from an oligarch to enrich him/herself. You spend four years railing on the libbies for spending money, and then praise the heavens that the new administration comes out with a huuuuge spending agenda, gives $100 billion in taxes to three individuals who are already billionaires to build more data centers.
@wildgrass saidYou have been defending an oligarchy for years. Big pharma.
Wait a minute. The current talking point is "oligarchy is a good thing." ????
Will you admit big pharma is an oligarchy? You can't do it, can you?
Fauci said he is science. Science needs a pre emptive pardon? Junk science does. Fauci is the head of the oligarchy snake. He lied to you for years.

You cannot even admit he lied, let alone admit he was the head of an oligarchy.
I do feel sorry for you Americans
You have a lunatic as President and two lunatic space billionaires who want to rule the planet
If you kept your garbage politics at home then great; but you are going to f#@% the world for the rest of us.
I thought Americans where intelligent; now I know they are lesser than the people that originally inhabited that land
Pity that shot missed
God help us all
@MartinS saidWe voted for Trump because the secret service conspired to assassinate Trump. That is why we knew he was right for a second term. Were you rooting for endless wars?
