Libs remark a lot here about the rich guys in the administration, whatever. No matter what your thoughts, this short article will put a positive spin on this very subject, before everyone goes haywire about the horrible rich businessmen.
It will make your future posts more relevant if you see the big picture. Like, Sueperson will weigh her words, before she says that no business people should be in government. She apparently thinks that politicians (Biden never was a businessman, BTW) can run the business of government.

I will hardly attempt to paraphrase this article. It is what it is. Rich people are who they are. Geniuses and successful men and women in business are who they are. So, shall we start with taking all their money (Bernie Sanders idea) or do we turn them lose to make this country great. You just saw how it can NOT be great, dont want that again, do we.

Oligarchs made this country with their genius, … you know, horses into car? I would go with the obvious answer, which is that oligarchs have always been good for the country. They don’t seem to have caused much trouble for 250 years. I say let them keep keeping on.
You see, we want them to cooperate with our government and create submarines that will fly or whatever in the hell is coming. Do you realize what we are competing with regarding the geniuses in China? Who do you want to compete with those geniuses if you do away with all of ours?
This is the problem with you liberals. I have just made a very clear point, but you will not respond to it, all you did was ask do I think Oligarchy is good. I am saying yes. Now you tell me why they’re not good, that is what debates are all about.

No.

The simple fact is there is no room for businessmen in government.

Government is for the people.

Business is for the rich (and those who wanna be rich), i.e. themselves, not 'the people'.

It is a clear conflict of interest. And despite everything Trump is doing, he cannot turn America into some place where only his interests are served.

But you people (the conned) do not see that. Your only thought (put into your head by Trump himself) is that America profits when Trump profits. This is so far away from what both the Declaration and the Constitution are all about.

Read your founding documents every once in a while. I know it won't stop Donald's narcissism, but it might blunt your slavering devotion to a man whose only care is about himself.

Oligarchy is bad. Real bad.

But people like you, "those who would be rich", have erred from the faith.

Don't ask us to follow you.

Apparently you do.

Not great in the way Biden was great, where ALL Americans could be hopeful.

But what we do not want is your kind of great, in the way that putrid, rotting food is great.

Henry ford was a businessman, not an oligarch.

Do you understand the difference?

Oligarchs are not good. It is a negative term by definition to describe a government beholden only to a small group of people. "Wherever men rule by reason of their wealth". Oligarchy is highly prone to oppression, corruption, obedience, power consolidation.

I'll try this. So you want to break these behemoths up, control them, regulate them. You have been Warned of Modern-Day Robber Barons, have you? I would rather have a good relationship with them, given what they can do. Considering how impt technology is in the WORLD, I take more comfort in an amicable relationship, than wagging my finger at them.
Biden was a magnet for the rich, you are aware? He lavished them with trillions of dollars, they would not exist without the taxpayer money. Energy subsidies (y'all hate subsidies) were about $1.8 Trillion. A direct pipeline to the extremely wealthy. You see what happened. The rich earned a LOT of money in these 4 years. Biden was president. Just thought I would remind you of that. It was Biden. Helping the fat cats, who, helped him. You are all so naive.

But having said that, who is going to be the machine that brings our dreams to fruition? Not politicians. No, it is the dreamers, the dealmakers, the negotiators, the job creators, the movers and shakers, the investors.....the upper one percent. We can call them Oligarchs, or we can call them teddy bears or Oak trees.
Now Trump is finding a place for them. To make America great. To create a country that has struggled for 4 years to get back on its feet. We need these guys, kiddos. Patriots!! Sonhouse thinks they will take over the USA! I will take that chance, given our safeguards. Hell the AI created by these guys will have its built-in safeguards against such foolishness anyway! We learned about a deep state from the Biden admiinistration, with Zero Transparency. And, we have had the rich for many, many years, none even Thought about it. Give me a break.
So, Oligarchs are good, from this point of view that I have presented. Friendly oligarchs, ...I think it makes you think Russia. Not, not the same thing.

If you disagree, tell us all who will man the helm in the technology world, who will create, and think, and guide the unbelievable evolvement ahead. I saw that sue said it should NOT be businessmen. No need for an explanation there, but what do y'all think?

Edit: Not to get off the subject, but, do y'all just not WANT people to be rich? Kamala said that we all need to be in the same place at the end of the day. Xi probably set up a special agency to follow that line of reasoning, it made his day!!

'Biden’s $7.5 billion EV charging stations program, which promised half a million installations, still has over 499,990 to go after three years. President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in November 2021, allocating $7.5 billion for electric vehicle charging, of which $5 billion is dedicated to building a network of chargers along major highways, called the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. Just seven electric-vehicle charging stations have begun operating with that $5-billion funding, marking “pathetic” progress, as automakers and others indicate that drastically expanding EV-charging stations is crucial to the wide deployment of electric vehicles, which is part of Biden’s climate change program. The seven EV-charging stations deployed to date consist of a few dozen total charging ports."

"In 2021, the Biden Administration passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which included a provision to give $42.5 billion to the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program to provide under-served and rural areas with internet access. To date, it has connected nobody.'

This is typical right wing drivel; all progress is due to just a few rich men and we all must grovel at their feet and give all the power and most of society's wealth their greatness.

A few hundred years ago, they trembled before kings and aristocrats, now it's rich guys even if they gained their wealth by inheritance (as most do) or fraud. The rest of us are always expendable in this view.
