agree in a way kids do need frank guidance but i guess thats awkward from parents and innapropriate from others - but they get it any way from the net / social media. I wouldn't restrict access to much if it were my choice.
I really think facebook could build an 'std traker' app. Its orwellian but so is the whole site. You could build a degree of anonimit ...[text shortened]... ng sensitive matters. They are recording the networks by which these diseases spread already.
It is the parents job to teach their kids what they feel is true and worthy of teaching them. Not instructing them in their faith would be akin to me not really believeing it was true or worthy to pursue. In the end, they will have to choose regardless of what I do or say, but at least I have tried to steer them in what I feel is the right direction.
The Bible teaches us that we should instruct children on how to live and they will not depart from it. So if we don't instruct them in regards to their faith, more than likely they will not pursue that faith.

I don't doubt that, but that is to ignore the common usage "safe sex" indicating condom use.
I indicated #3 the disclaimer to the two previous "rules".
In television advertising of feminine birth control devises such as pills and patch, the companies still use the disclaimer, does not protect against STDs. You would be surprised how many young girls don't know this.
