@booger saidSomeone tell us that a Muslim must cook up a cake depicting a gay married couple.
I can't wait for a bakery owned by Muslims, denying a gay cake, so we can laugh at everyone being quiet as a church mouse and not saying anything against the bakery.
This is yet again an example of a statement to a Lib that they cannot answer.
@averagejoe1 saidWhy the hell does a baker care about who wants what cake?

If a guy owns a donut shop and I go in and ask him to make me a dozen bagels, should he be required under constitutional law to make the bagels? He does not make bagels in the course of his business.

Either he’s in it to make money.
Or he’s in it to make very great things.
What the fukk is his problem?
@shavixmir saidRead the OP. Shows his mindset. I think that he does not understand behavior, and when he realized he would be making a cake for people who behave in a way which he is unfamiliar to his religious senses, like a Muslim going along with activities outside the realm of Christian or Muslim principles,,,,,,well, it just did not set well with him.

Do you think he should not be religious, Shav? Should religion not be a guide for the lives of certain people? Having provided a service to these creatures, he may feel he will not find the Kingdom of Heaven. You are atheist, so you really can't respond, but he lives his life, you live yours.
@averagejoe1 saidHe’ll be crying on his way to the bank to deposit the $350 he made
But he sells a specific product, normal wedding, etc cakes. Been going on 10,000 years. So you are suggesting it is a normal customary cake.
Please picture this little baker after handing over this cake and dropping, crying, to his knees as the aberrant people walk out the door. Let us assume that these people effectively have hurt this man.
@averagejoe1 saidGo ahead and order one and then sue them if they refuse and we’ll have something to talk about

@averagejoe1 saidIf I 'forced' someone to bake a cake, no way I'd be eating it, who knows what's in there. I'm nervous about sending something back to the restaurant kitchen, then when the plate comes back out the chef is standing there in his filthy apron with an evil grin waiting to see you eat it.

@wajoma saidSounds like a great opportunity analyze the cake and sue the chef. He could have just pocketed the 400 bucks but if he wants to break the law…

@mott-the-hoople saidThere are laws prohibiting what the baker is doing. If you don’t like it change the law. Get the civil rights legislation repealed. We all know you right wingers want to.
