Your first 4 paragraphs simply make my points, as I made them, The citizens of TX ELECTED people to handle this issue properly. The people that They ELECTED did NOT do their job. The citizens have got a problem, they blew it , and you want them to drag out their weenie posters (the ones you carry around in the streets) and march up to the US Capitol and make them pay f ...[text shortened]... aint there.

What laugh your post is. And the first part is what I have been saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"The citizens of TX ELECTED people to handle this issue properly."
I was being sarcastic. The Texas people are paying for electing wolves to guard sheep and be all surprised the wolves behaved like wolves and ate them.

"The citizens have got a problem, they blew it ,"
Wtf do you mean they blew it? They blew what? It's their fault for Texas freezing?

"and march up to the US Capitol and make them pay for their errors."
there are two different issues. Right now issue one is to get texas people to not freeze or go bankrupt from utilities bills. Issue number two is to hold the people responsible accountable. What do you want, to let the people freeze to death so they can learn from their mistakes?

" You agree with me in the 4 paragraphs,"
You are deluded. I didn't agree with you.

" but then spoil the post by saying the feds should be involved in TX politics."
they have to. Right now people are in trouble and your insane policy of "let Texas deal with it" is heartless and idiotic. It will be the people having to deal with it while the Texas gop will do nothing and the energy companies responsible for this mess will profit from the crysis.

" Did you mention freezing people? What about the homeless who wlll freeze all over America tonight?"
What about the people who will get run over by cars. What about the starving children in Yemen. What about a redneck who will get drunk and shoot his own foot by mistake?
What about them. You can't help everyone (and in your case, you definitely don't want to) but right now something can be done for this urgent crisis, no matter how temporary.

"Everybody, Zahlanzi thinks the Fed govt should run around the country correcting and Nannying all the states, like putting up barriers in FL for hurricanes."
Obviously yes. That's the fukin point of a government. It's not floridians dying from hurricanes, it's americans.

"will WY be miffed that they are not giving THEM any money"
Or, like normal people and not complete psychos behave, be glad they don't have to deal with fukin hurricanes? By your logic, if a kid loses his legs in a tragic accident, his brother will get jealous when the parents buy that kid new prosthetics.

"Tell Suzianne, BTW, that this is why we need the electoral college, to save the ass of states like WY."
Or perhaps it would be better to not behave like complete psychopaths and help people when they need it and not because they have an arbitrary number of electoral votes that you need.

Biden didn't get Texas' electoral votes. He is still helping them because he isn't a fukin psychopath.

"As to the lawn mower, I am equating......"It Is MY Problem" Jesus. Nobody has any obligation to come fix my lawnmower. You seem to be imputing a duty of care to the govt.....it aint there."
It isn't for the lawnmower you loon, but if your house collapses on you and you're trapped under a beam, you still expect someone to come help you. Your neighbour at least. The fire department. Will your neighbour say that he shouldn't interfere in your problems and that you being trapped under rubble is your local problem and you will have to deal with it yourself?
Well, having you as a neighbor he probably might ignore you, but decent people don't behave like that.

    "What laugh your post is"
only because you didn't understand it. Stupid people laugh at stuff beyond their comprehension, it helps them deal with events.

"Texas Republican hypocrisy over federal aid is nothing new – ask Flyin' Ted Cruz
After Hurricane Sandy, the senator opposed relief for New York and New Jersey.
It’s one rule for Texas, another for the rest of us."

"For all of their bravado and ...[text shortened]... er has to be cleared out, let the sea-going navigation
which is benefited by it, bear the burden."
While Texas Republicans demand federal aid for Texas now, I bet that they will
oppose (again) federal aid for other states afflicted by worse disasters.

Whew. It is the citizens fault. If you hire a guy to fix your roof and don't 'check him out' the resulting leak is your fault.. Help..... You are all over, Zahlanzi. Should your neighbor or town council have something to do with your roof? Do you truly have not a bit of logic to draw from?
Your para about run over by car or shooting in foot ..these are random unplanned occurrences , not comparable to constructed installations. Whew.
YOur prosthetic analogy needs to be another analogy, it dont fly.

You throw the 'help people' phrase around a bit loosely. The guy in the car wreck does have an ER to go to. There are many programs in this country that have been developed over a 100 years, but I will be surprised when you and Kev and everyone come up with a 'One Stop Cures All' for every screw up in this country.
Seems to me that taxes need tone raised in TX to pay for the mess. Do you think taxes should be raised in ALL the states to get up the cash for TX? Yeah, you probably do, being a dependent group-sort. We are all brothers, like, I am a brother to the guy in Florida who killed and Dismembered his wife. How do y'all pick which catastrophes deserve socialistic attention, or which people you think I should matriculate with in Kamala's world, where , at the end of the day, we all end up in the same place? Zahlanzi, may I be the one to decide where I end up at the end of day? And it might not be on your roof fixing the stupid leak. Whew. You really count on dependency.
