Wait, you have not addressed the payment of loans that were made by stewardesses and bu nurses. Should we pay all their loans?. Why or why not
Without resorting to whataboutism, it is not legally logical that the government is allowed by judges to forgive hundreds of billions in loans for small businesses, but not $30 billion loans for student debt.

Rationale: Major questions.

If you don't understand what a loan is, college might not be for you.

Functioning societies eliminate burdensome debt all the time. It's a pretty routine part of government policy.

Yes, but the question here has been only one, for three weeks. If they pay off the student loan debt, why not pay off the debt of a nurse or similar person with equal problems? Why is everyone so daft about this. It is very telling that you liberals will not address this simple question. Tell us why one group qualifies, and the other does not. Tell us.

Don't nurses go to college?

Things can't be equal for everyone. That's not how the world works, Joe.

A new can of worms for Wildgrass, a proponent of equality, but says that things cant be equal for everyone.
Interesting.
Anyway, nurses may not be such a great example by me, but a girl out of high school goes to stewardess school. Not a college, but a loan that she took out to further her life, her education, her future.
College grads get a free ride, she does not???????
Why pick one type of education and not another? Or someone who is dirt poor with no education...they get no payoff for money they borrowed, which got them in a hole, bankrupt.
Cop out, and say things cant be equal for everyone.

It's the same can, Joe. I am not a proponent of equality.
Why pick one type of education and not another?

It is not one type of education. It is one type of loan. Many people have private loans and/or have already paid off these loans. They would not benefit, even though they had the same education.

That's why the comparison to small business loans is appropriate. In this case, forgiving student loans as a targeted federal program is by definition unfair to one group but not others. As I said, functioning societies have relieved burdensome debt all the time, for thousands of years.
