While many are trying to have you believe that these are very peaceful protests and the presence of Federal agents to provide law and order is unnecessary, there are politically motivated stabbings.
A conservative journalist was stabbed in an early morning attack in Portland, Oregon early this morning, according to multiple social media reports and videos. The stabbing, which was caught on tape happened early Saturday morning after several hours of continued attacks towards the Hatfield Courthouse.
The victim, identified as Drew Duncomb, was apparently reporter with the The Common Sense Conservative, was apparently stabbed when he confronted an alleged Antifa member who was following him and other journalists. From a graphic video online, it appears the man was stabbed at least once.

This looks staged.
He says "where you going bro?" before "stabbing" him? And conveniently on camera, after a narrative was built up setting up that they knew an attack was coming....by another white guy, because conservatives can't wouldn't be able to get a black man to agree with this scheme.
This is just a conservative Jussie Smollett.
@Philokalia
Ho-Lee shusta! A bomb went off, gunfire sporadically heard. Damn.
"Peaceful protesters" - LOLOLOLOL.
"Black Lives Matter" - LOLOLOL just not that black life.
The DNC should definitely locate to Portland. Their kind of town.
@philokalia saidHow do you know this was a "politically motivated stabbing"?

There's footage (by Andy Ngo, of all people) showing the crowd detaining and roughing up the suspect and then handing him over to police. Why would all these lawless, violent criminals do such a thing?
@no1marauder
And I have a feeling that Andy Ngo will be the only one to follow up on the story.
It's like the 5 people shot in CHOP. Anybody in MSM ever follow up on those stories?

@earl-of-trumps saidDon't be silly leftists can't afford guns nobody was shot at CHOP. 😉

Looks like things are heating up across the US again. Apparently the people of other cities besides Portland are not content to merely wait and see whose skulls Trump's anonymous thugs fracture next as they skulk into their neighborhoods. There are proactive protests erupting everywhere now, against not only police brutality and a warped criminal justice system, but against tyranny itself.
Once again we witness how harsh crackdowns by an authoritarian regime can backfire spectacularly.
@earl-of-trumps saidJust generally, what percentage of the violent crimes committed in the country each day do you fancy is reported on by the national news media? Give a figure. Any figure.

@soothfast saidI agree, it is a biased selection process

If a protester in CHOP is teargassed, OMG, it's all over MSM
Somebody in CHOP is shot and killed and, "Nothing to see here, folks. Move along..."
@earl-of-trumps saidTeargassings are caught on camera and affect scores if not hundreds of people. Murders not so much. Call it "reality bias."
I agree, it is a biased selection process

@earl-of-trumps saidI'll add one more point: tear-gassings are state-sponsored acts that evince some strategy or policy which people who have real power over the citizenry are enacting.

A murder is a stochastic phenomenon. That is, a murder is either a random act (crime of passion), or an act that was calculated (premeditated) by one or a few rogue criminals sanctioned by no entity beyond themselves.
Which kind of story holds the heftier implications for society as a whole? Which is the worthier event to fit into a 30-minute national newscast?
@vivify saidSo you believe that they are paying some guy to stab him?
This looks staged.

This is all a fake?
... and some of the evidence for this is because they got a white guy, and, assuming that the conspiracy is true, a black guy would not have agreed to do this?
I think you are jumping to conclusions that just are convenient to your personal narrative.
@no1marauder saidI noticed this narrative first when a man thought to be a far right counter-protester (whether he was or not, I do not know) was being beaten badly at a BLM protest in London, and when another BLM protester carried him to safety, the story became about how noble BLM protesters are.
How do you know this was a "politically motivated stabbing"?
There's footage (by Andy Ngo, of all people) showing the crowd detaining and roughing up the suspect and then handing him over to police. Why would all these lawless, violent criminals do such a thing?
It's quite an interesting situation:
Yuo get stabbed at our protest, but we apprehended the man who stabbed you, therefore we are noble.
It implies you can't judge us all by the actions of a few.
So, you'd agree to not judge the Charlottesville protesters by the actions of James Fields?
@soothfast saidYour response to a black conservative being stabbed in Portland by Antifa is to talk about how many skulls Trump's anonymous thugs have fractured?

I am nto sure what you are referring to, by the way -- what skulls have been fractured lately by Trump's anonymous thugs?
I missed out all of the Trump supporters killing/beating people in the last 1.9 months of rioting.
