Yah... seems starving kids, a complete failure to comprehend the current situation and Boris’ methods of dealing with Corona are... uh... slightly worrying.

No matter. As long as brexiteers get what they want (although most of them can’t express what they actually want), it’s all gonna be fine.

Hey! That trade deal with Japan looks good...
Yah, okay, it’s worse than the trade deal what Britain had with Japan in the EU... and, yah, it curtails the UK’s ability to fund private enterprise more than the EU demands... but it certainly looks good...

Meanwhile... the UK still thinks the EU will cave at the last minute...
Cave about what?
That it would be in the EU’s best interest to sell their souls to UK capitalism (and Russian oligarchy)?

It’s so pathetic, one can only gringe at the tories’ gamble.

Oh. Yeah. Sorry. It’s not about the US.
So, probably it will be ignored by the 8 most prolific posters on this forum.
But hey, it can’t all be about yous trailer parks and incels.

@shavixmir
Interesting article in various newspapers this morning (here's The Guardian version, but the right-wing press covered it too):

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/oct/24/johnson-will-wait-for-us-election-result-before-no-deal-brexit-decision

It seems likely that a Biden victory would spell the end of any hope for a quick trade deal with the US. Biden, of Irish ancestry, will stick up for Ireland and is much more interested in the EU than in the UK. So if Biden wins, then Johnson will be glad of whatever deal the EU offers him. If Trump wins, it'll be no deal and we will press onwards to the sunlit uplands: dining on chlorinated chicken while dying patients are bankrupted by their cancer treatments...

Well, quite. So I guess Britain will soon be forced to confront its global irrelevance...

I am quite certain that President Biden will engage with Prime Minister Cameron soon after his inauguration. ๐Ÿ˜†
