I think you may have mis-spoke ... those NOT UNABLE are actually able.
Every once in awhile the truth slips out.

What is a "mess"? A society which put the community and compansion ahead of self interest and greed is a better one than we live in today. It not about supporting "slackers", its about working together- something you are not grasping. It isn't about being "nice", its about being human.

Why did you bring multiculturalism up anyway? Once again, a societ ...[text shortened]... versity and difference is better than the bigoted, narrow minded one which we have today.
That's nice.

Not really .. neither of us will ever rule the world .. and neither of us are really that nice.
You think you are .. but I know better.

We don't have skilled plumbers in this country, which is why we bring them in from abroad- because the apprenticeships schemes in this country are very poor.

As for the porters and waiters, they are probably students who are working there way through University, then hopefully stay in Britain and help the economy.
But the gov. offers training in manual skills but still many prefer to remain idle rather than undergo such training or take unskilled jobe .

As to your conjecture about 'staudents' that is pure fantasy. I'm talking about thousands of non-student immigrants who take unskilled and semi-skilled jobs legally every year in the UK.
You appear to be totally ignorant of the facts.

You rule your own little piece of the world, your idea of nice might not be correct or shared by others, don't try to force your idea of morality on others.

Weren't you the one that said there is no truth and it's hopeless to search for it? Here's an example: Right now there is a life size red London double decker parked on your desk in front of you. I say there is, you may possibly like to deny that. One of us is telling the truth. There is reality.

You aren't understanding the whole "truth" issue- what reality is in relation to the human senses. If the human senses can be tricked, then there is no telling what is "real" and what is distorted sense data. Can I just point oiut I ain't as morally righteous/ mad as some of the people on the abortion thread (e.g. Jammer). I just think that many people share my beliefs, and the issue of whether they are "correct" or not is purely subjective.

What do you "know better"? I belive in a what I am saying, its not about being "nice", its about my principles. You think that abortion is wrong, I think that poverty is wrong.

I wasn't saying you ruled the world, just similiar minded people. e.g. the Bush administration.

Where do you get your "facts" from? I write based on a belief that people in theis country are willing but unable to find work, be they for skills or geographical reasons. You are the one who appear to be ignorant of the facts. The whole "brain drain" issue is of skilled proffessionals coming form the eastern european countries, not unskilled workers. The immigrants doing unskilled jobs work for gangmasters, the example of the cocklepickers in Morecambe Bay. The "jobs" that are there people in this country aren't willing to take is becaues they are not that desperate, which I see as good- i'd rarther have someone living off UB than being forced to work as a virtual slave.

Haha, your one of those that would argue against the existence of the footpath as you plunged from a ten storey building 🙄 indeed.

Good luck when you find out, I'll stick with reality thanks.

You can believe that nothing exists/ truth isn't reachable, and still live a normal life! It doesn't have any impact on how you act (generally, unless you actually care that everything might not exists), because you can't do anything about it. Just live with the possibility that it could be true... 🙄😲
