I wrote an essay for college under the influence of cannabis, thought it was great at the time, threw it out the next day, it was unreadable.
Learning new material in a band? Forget it, I can't be bothered to show a stoner the same thing twenty times.

I think when people bring up the terrors of grass, especially if they are Born again christians or some such, you can be sure they are doing it so they can have something they can feel superior about, considering a large portion of christian faith is tied up with judgementalism.
Christianity teaches that all persons are born flawed, so the people suckered into this crap spends his life trying to find ways to think of himself as LESS flawed, therefore to his twisted mind that makes him/she/it more valued/evolved/perfected in the "eyes" of whatever
his/her/its conception of god is. The fact that there is a down side to grass is irrelevant or that there are medical benefits doesn't mean diddly, what counts is the accuser can feel on some level superior.
I must admit, i've smoked it for years. It has definately affected my motivation but I think there is a lot of rubbish circulated about this soft drug. If you abuse it, it'll mess you up good and proper. I don't think users really deserve to be arrested for using it though. I've spent a total of 28 hours in various police cells over the years, simply for being in possesion. I can't see how this makes a scrap of difference to anyone. It doesn't stop people using or dealing, it just means they can never visit the United States or apply for any jobs that require security screening.
In fact, using Cannabis has not done me any harm, but the over reaction of government has done me no end of harm. Why should i stop now? Will i get these things back? No! I could get arrested another 100 times and it would make no difference to me at all, except the humiliation of being incarcerated by condecending Police officers for anything up to 10 hours of course.
And another thing, one thing i hate more than being labeled a criminal is the fact that through my using cannabis i put money in the pockets of real criminals! Given the choice i'd grow my own and consequently only be responsible for my own actions rather than supporting illicit actions of others.
I used to buy grass off this old guy who lived near me. Turns out one day he's offering me crack cocaine. He was really in with the local kids and i wanted to kill him when i found out. I don't want anything to do with things like this but unfortunately i find myself linked by proxy, all because of narrow minded government policy. If they want to curb hard drug use, legalise cannabis. I know it sounds stupid but i really think it'd make a difference.
