@mike69 saidThe false premise is that some are being skipped over for reasons other than 'merit'. But every pilot in America who is qualified and wants a job has a job. No one has lost their job to a black pilot.
Go on, please explain this logic. So you are saying don’t hire the top 10% in candidates in whatever, you will get better quality if you hire in the 70 or 80 % of candidates to meet a certain color of people in your operation?
@no1marauder saidI’ve seen the dei question asked of him four times I remember at different colleges and know how he explains it using the pilots, sports, and surgeons comparisons. If you don’t watch then maybe you should quit judging him off of things you have no idea if true or not?
The quotes are given on page 1 with their source and date. In the "immigration" section, he's also quoted as suggesting we stop ALL immigration and endorsing white nationalist "replacement theory" at least as it pertains to rural white areas of the US. I rarely view YouTube videos and don't believe they are useful sources for a Debate Forum.
@wildgrass saidA job available isn’t the point is it? You’re now talking individual cases true for everyone not color. So tell me the situation of this individual case?

@mike69 saidDoes it make sense to consider hypotheticals when we have real data to look at? Surely all the hubbub over DEI in aviation you lot must have some evidence based in reality right?

In your hypothetical scenario, the airline industry would hire 100% of all qualified applicants.
@wildgrass saidTell me the point I made about DEI, merit, color based hiring, what does any of this have to do with any of it.. I don’t care what the job is if you want to give your customers/guests the best possible experience and quality in whatever business you have. You made the hypothetical comment that’s why I asked you for the details. You have made many comments but answered or defended none of them?

@mike69 saidHave you seen him say that if the US becomes "less white" it will "collapse"? That's the quote I was referring to.

It's pretty obvious you don't know anything about DEI, so you are the target audience for Kirk's stupid and racist comment about black pilots.

race or sex...text book racism.
but you have got to hang on to racism because you want it to be racist.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidBy default. That's the nature of false premises.

When I get on a plane, I know the airlines extensively train their pilots and set rigorous standards before allowing them to fly passenger planes. I could care less about their "race".
It bothered Charlie though or at least he pretended it did.
@no1marauder saidbecause "black" is the ONLY race to get special treatment
He specifically said "black" so you're lying.
@no1marauder saidWhat I’ve seen from him on this is on illegal immigration and not knowing who’s coming in and crime. He said it should temporally stop while while we as a country put our oxygen mask on first. Please post the entire clip or video and try watching one of them before judging little sheep.

Are you denying his said those quotes? Suppose I did waste enough time to find him saying them; would you agree he was a racist?
@no1marauder saidI think after the numerous hours I have watched him vrs you, I know him better. Here is the airline question, as much as you have put down this man along with speaking on this topic, surly you can spare a few minutes.

Just watching that 3 minutes of his garbage was nauseating enough.
The article cited in the OP has links to his quotes, so it isn't hard to verify he said them.
