Merkel of Germany went on TV and discussed how serious this virus is and marshalled the resources of her federal government to get PPE and the like.
Trump did NONE of that, instead of true leadership he told us the states are on their own and WORSE, had FEMA in a bidding war against states trying to buy PPE and FEMA actually literally stealing bought and paid for PPE by DEMOCRAT states but not republican states.
That is about the most despicable act a POTUS ever made and tens of thousands of people are dead because of it.
He tells his base how wonderful a job he is doing and like trained puppies, fall for his BS EVERY TIME.

He did this during the run-up to the 2016 election, too. Say something outrageous? No problem, tomorrow it'll be something even more outrageous and the media focus turns to the new shiny. This way, he nevers gets too much blow-back on stuff because there's always something new to be outraged about. Plus, he stays in the media spotlight. It worked last time. Maybe the media should just call a moratorium on 'Trump News' for a week or two and watch him implode from lack of attention.
