@no1marauder
This is good news. De Santis would have done more damage from the WH than Trump. De Santis actually understands how to get bad legislation passed; Trump doesn’t, he just throws temper tantrums when it isn’t (as when Congress refused to fund his wall).

@moonbus
What bad legislation are you talking about?

He was riding high after a landslide victory in the Florida governor's race in 2022 and seemed like a formidable challenger to the Donald but he's out after one distant second place finish.
Theories, speculation and mocking welcome.
He’s as big a twot as Trump but without the ability to connect with anyone but himself.

@wajoma saidDrunk again?
lib-dem-tard-ocrat TDS is what went wrong for DeSantis.
It's to a point where it's hard to imagine people like sunstroker and suziman are not actually double agents. Of course it's much larger than two ijit posters here at RHP and their constant Trump threads and their constant diversion of non-Trump threads to Trump. But they are an extreme example of what's happening on a greater scale in a much larger arena TDS has back fired.
@sonhouse saidNo, his problem is that anywhere and everywhere you guys make Trump the topic, how many threads did you start about Trump versus how many threads did you start about DeSantis. His** (**DeSantis' ) problem is that any publicity is better than no publicity and that at every possible opportunity you made that publicity about Trump. And Trumps publicity department thank you for that.
@Wajoma
You are saying DeSantis is a lib because he is banning books in Florida, forcing women to carry the fetus to birth no matter rape, incest, or medical problems endangering the woman's life? That DeSantis?

@moonbus saidWT Fckn F are you talking about, I checked both links and there is 100% no reference to any playground anywhere.

@wajoma saidTrump makes his own publicity and the msm jump on it for ratings but given that he’s really only a general election away from the whitehouse the more light that gets shone on him and his absolutist monarchy plans the better.

The idiot wants to tear up magma carter what chance will some airy fairy 18th century constitution stand
@wajoma saidOf course the biil does not specifically mention "school playground", but it will have that effect, since the playground is on the school's property. The bill's proponent, McClain, admitted as much.
WT Fckn F are you talking about, I checked both links and there is 100% no reference to any playground anywhere.
<<"So if little girls experience their menstrual cycle in fifth grade or fourth grade, will that prohibit conversations from them since they are in the grade lower than sixth grade?" Gantt asked.
McClain responded, "It would.">>
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/florida-bill-ban-menstruation-education-elementary-school/
<<“Does this bill prohibit conversations about menstrual cycles?” Gantt asked. “Because we know that typically the ages are between 10 and 15 so if little girls experience their menstrual cycle in fifth grade or fourth grade will that prohibit conversations from them, since they are in the grade lower than sixth grade?”
“It would,” McClain replied.>>
https://www.vice.com/en/article/93k5yz/florida-sex-education-bill
<<McClain’s bill has also been criticized for potentially enabling book banning. The bill would require the state Department of Education to approve all instructional materials in schools, and would also make it easier for people to file objections to a school’s books and give parents “the right to read passages from any material that is subject to an objection.”
If a parent or “resident of the county” objects to a book for being pornographic, age-inappropriate, or even having “sexual content” that they think isn’t educational, the bill would require that it get pulled from school shelves until the objection is resolved.>>
Did you ever read the Bible? It's got lots of sex and violence, incest even. (Same link.)
Further, <<Florida is even seeking to limit what public colleges and universities can teach: One bill introduced in the state legislature in February would block them from teaching about gender studies.>> (Same link.)
The link below claims the bill passed by a 13-5 majority.

My take on deSantis drops out? His doing so evidences his realization that Trump’s legal problem's’ are going to go away.
If he thought for a second that Trump would be convicted, he’d stay in. He must know that Trump will be exonerated.
PS: when Tim Scott, SC, endorses N Haley, she is toast.
