I do not in any way believe the " nothing to see here " nutjobs, but I also believe it is what it is, such is life/death, get over it. I would love there to be no covid, I would love no cardiovascular problems, no car accidents, etc etc, and everyone dying at a nice old age but sometimes life throws out a few curve balls. It is better accepting the fragility of life and defend life quality over longevity.
I was never concerned about when/if I went into a nursing home, now I want to die at home rather than the lonely existence some aged people are being forced to endure, for there own good nonetheless. Can't think of much worse than a lonely death. All in the name of love. yea right. let me die by "my" standards and stop keeping me alive this way.
