-Removed-Oh? Did you study history Dive? I sincerely don't think you did. And I don't have the energy or time to really school you.
I will try to break it down.
There was a the war to end all wars. At the end of this war there was punishment for the losers. This punishment was harsh, it was designed to be harsh, to cripple the 'war makers' of the war to end all wars (this was 1922 and the debt was over 6 billion). There was no forgiveness, no understanding, no thought to the generations after who would be paying. The war losers were made to feel 2nd class, there was economic collapse. In 1933 Hitler got to power and stopped paying the reparations, he inspired the nation to not see themselves as 2nd class. He enjoyed being in power, he had no forgiveness for the writers of the treaty and in fact, he felt Germany were 1st class and other countries were 2nd class- yeah, he went too far - his ego got ahead of him.
-Removed-She is a nutcase. She implied earlier in this thread that Israel should forgive Hamas and stop the war. Then stated that if women were in charge there would be no war. Little does she realise that putting those 2 statements together will have the end result of Hamas winning the war and plundering, raping and murdering all the women in charge. This is one reason why America needs to be careful with someone like Kamala Harris in charge. Many women lack the ability, or are too emotional, to see clearly in times of war. Certainly there were some that were level headed, like Golda Meir and Margaret Thatcher and some others.
@yo-its-me saidSaying war is unnecessary is like saying surgery is unnecessary.
But, we can all agree that war is unnecessary, right?
It's better to live in hope and believe things can get better, to see how things could be. imo.
In all seriousness, if women were in power there'd be less ego floating about the place needing revenge and to 'win'.
I live in hope that I will avoid surgery, as I am sure we all do.
I'm not sure it matters if the surgeon is male or female.
@spruce112358 saidYes, indeed.

Congratulations on 20 years on this site btw!
@yo-its-me saidSo it was actually a war to lead to another world war.

Was Germany paying the reparations to Jews? Why did Hitler blame the Jews for it? Did they have to borrow money from Jewish bankers to pay the reparations? I heard Jewish run banks were involved and that is why he called them parasites and hated them.
@Metal-Brain saidWhy do I hear your post in Trumps questioning voice?!

Hitler said Germany could have won WW1. Why did he say that?
@Metal-Brain saidThe man was a fvcking freak. That’s why he said that.

There was no way, by late 1917, that Germany had any hopes, what-so-ever, of winning the war.
The German people were starving, the troops on the front were under-nourished, the US had joined the war, and Germany’s resources were dwindeling. They couldn’t keep up with France and Britain’s industrial output and both countries had immense empires to pull resources and troops from.
That Hitler ignored the reality of it all is the same mental deficiency which cost him WW2.
@shavixmir saidNo, he had his reasons for saying that. You think just because he was evil he was insane. If the USA had not come to the rescue Germany would have won the war. The UK and France were on the brink of collapse.

Did he blame the Kaiser for losing the war?
@Metal-Brain saidNo, no, no.

Nope. The US involving themselves did obviously make an impact, but Germany was losing anyway. The country was blockaded.
@shavixmir saidNot true. UK and French troops had low morale and were deserting in high numbers. Without the USA entering that war Germany would have won.
No, no, no.

I can’t be arsed digging up the facts for you.
But just look at the developement of tanks and the June 1917 Messines battle.
The Germans had no food, the country was on its knees and ammunition and weapons were running low by mid 1918.
