You go off subject.
Everyone, this cookie-cutter liberal wants to change the subject. He wants to talk about Crone capitalism and corporate welfare. All in the same thread, together, being two separate topics in this thread, a thread which has nothing to do with capitalism or welfare. He simply will not respond to the topic. It is just pitiful..
For instance, ...[text shortened]... veryone here about socialism.
Direct questions. Why can liberals not answer? Direct questions?
It's not off subject, you put all of that into one post. From a nonsense question, receive a nonsense answer.

Maybe go back and clarify your question with better terminology.

The question OP Why don’t people want to live under socialism? What would be their reasons? I’m trying to be helpful Or, try why DO people want to live under socialism. Please be gracious, as it is very difficult for certain people to chat with socialists.

Now, you could , if easier, tell us why one would WANT to live under socialism. The OP.
We are just chatting here, no reason to be obtuse.

Already pointed out that socialists do want to live under socialism.

Already pointed out that your example of a socialist (Jasmine Crockett) is not a socialist.

Already pointed out that you erroneously equate socialism with liberalism. Liberalism is pro-capitalist.

Some people don't want socialism. Some do. I think the reasons are complex. My point that you took offense to was the fact that US politicians favor corporate handouts over individual ones , which is not real capitalism but crony capitalism, and takes a cut of everyone's paycheck who isn't a crony.

Can you respond to a post? I am an Asian Inuit, an atheist with a bit of racism thrown in, but a true universal Novbeliever and everything Mother Teresa.
But setting all that aside, can you possibly respond to a post without such considerations. That is, look at some facts, and respond to the facts. If he and I discuss
religion, I would not expect either of us to say that one is an atheist one is a Christian… We would diiscuus religion. Catch on.
None of your posts have contained a fact since mmmmmmmm, I'd say 2008, at least.

So would Shav, I suspect, as he said he can live on meager existence. I cannot imagine not being able to buy delta tickets to visit my family, and then maybe while I am out , vist the Netherlands, KimKim, a wonderful bike expereince. But that's just me. Who needs to do such wonderful things
maybe you answered your own hypothetical, dumbass. Rather than living in amerika or Cuba, try the netherlands

I am not thinking about studying the structures of the other countries. Certainly you know I speak about the United States. Sorry for the confusion.
Unions = socialism.
Healthcare = socialism
Unemployment benefit = socialism
Health & Safety = socialism
Education for everyone = socialism
Mimimum wage = socialism
Etc.

A great many socialist principles are used in the US. And a great many people are happy to have them.

Are you kidding????

"The Netherlands is known for its traditional icons like windmills, tulips, and canals, as well as modern aspects like its innovative design, cycling culture, and history with artists like Rembrandt and Van Gogh. Other famous features include cheese, famous beer brands, and the country's flat, water-influenced landscape"

Wow. So, how could I be successful, productive, get rich,......open a cheese factory I guess. And what's with the windmills? Geez. And pay taxes of $49.5 PerCent of my income!! My accountant says,,,uhhhh, you don't want to live there.

I'll just go over for bicycle riding...cycling culture!!! Geez. Go to a museum, and
then, I guess, go take a nap.

49.5%. To be paid out to losers.

I did not say the girl is a socialist. i said she has defrauded her application, and liberals do not care about it. This is along the same lines that if Kamala were building a ballroom with taxpayer money, you would all be celebrating. However, you do NOT want Trump to build a free ballroom. So I use this horrible Crocket as an example of pitiful lib crap.

Yes, you are correct that those who want to live under socialism are dependent-type people and live on government handouts. Funny, little feller, you decry corporate handouts, but as a socialist, you LOVE 'individual ones'. Your ilk are parasites, and we are the hosts. Pizzes me off.

Yes, like a city uses taxes to pay for a fire station that covers all towns people if their house catches on fire, and to pay for the local grade school for children of the families.
Call it what you want. So what. Are you trying to stir something up, as you make no dent in anything with this post.

You say why socialists don’t want to live under socialism.

I’m telling you that a majority of Americans enjoy living under various socialist principles. So, even non-socialists want to socialist principles.

You love the word socialist. What we are talking about is common sense. 1000 people in a town pay taxes and agree that some of the taxes will go to universal benefit for everyone. Like a fire station or school for the children. They are using common sense. They vote for it and the meeting is over.
Little fella, now follow me here… they don’t call it socialism. You people who eat and Sleep socialism ,and think about the government at least three times a day, naturally refer to such arrangements as socialism. That’s what I meant earlier by saying call it what you want to. So why don’t you call it socialism, while everyone in the town does not use that word. It makes you wonder doesn’t it. Why don’t they call it socialism?

so, in closing, people do love living under such arrangement so they can share the cost of the schools. If they did not, they would each have to pay separate money to go to the schools and it would be more expensive. That is what we call common sense.

Yes. Indeed. Now draw that very intelligent conclusion further. What else can be made cheaper and benefits everyone and society?

Well, uh… that is socialism/ communism.

You seem to think that socialism is an alternative to capitalism. It’s not. It’s an evolution.

Not everything capitalist is bad. And lasting
Change doesn’t come in revolutions, but by trial and error.

An interesting statement. I cannot think of one. Could you slyly be thinking of that old 'free housing' thing? Free car insurance, free food? Free money with which to gamble?
All silly, of course, but come up with one thing that would qualify for everyone in a city to pitch in and pay for the benefit of a community. I will say City Park, with children playground and skate park. Free bus transportation? But I don't have children , and I don't ever ride a bus. What is one you would like?
