Hahaha yeah because Putin knows exactly where he’s going to import his migrant crisis from and I’m sure his pal Assad will provide the exports.

Not here in the good ol' USA.

We grow more wheat and corn than we need. There will be no shortage here, except maybe sunflower oil. Looks like a food shortage will benefit the USA. More demand for our wheat and corn.

It is almost like it was planned that way.

Yes, it will mean less exports and probably higher food prices fueling further inflation, all of which the GOP will blame Joe Biden for. 🙄

Well lucky you the actually shortages will in the areas that they are always biting the hardest. Those countries with the lowest lowest incomes and lowest gdp will be the ones to go hungry as usual.

Well perhaps you should use your typing energies to supporting the world food programme which tries to get surplus food to where it needs to be by pressuring the wealthy part of the world into sharing rather selling their surplus at extortionate prices.

It’s more complicated than that. Even when the US government buys the food and gives it away the people receiving the food often complain that the US is undermining the native food production.

You mean you don't trust good ol' capitalism? LOL!

Welcome to the real world. Capitalists don't respect competition like they claim to. They are out to screw over anyone they can. You want wheat and corn? Pay us for it. Go ahead and blame it on Putin. We don't care.

Scapegoats are nice. Blame the high fuel prices on Putin while you are at it. That is what Biden is doing.

Yep. That is why the US government selectively wants open markets. Nations become dependent on the US government for food so they are no longer sovereign.
