Lost, 24 (seasons 1-3), Fred Hampton, Shelby Foote, HP Lovecraft, David Lynch, Theodore Roosevelt, Eugene Debs and the recent writers on Parecon. There's a great deal to admire about the US from a cultural and state-level perspective, it's their federal politics and foreign policy adventures that breed anti-Americanism.

It's Europe .. without the howardgeeks.

It's a SoCal beach on a hot summer day and Times Square on New Years Eve.
It's a 4th of July BBQ in the backyard.
It's a baseball game with your grandson.
It's apple pie and a red Chevy convertable.
It's taking your girlfriend to the drive-in on Friday night.
It's a deer hunt with your Dad and brothers.
It's hiking through Grand Canyon, getting in your car and being in Las Vegas shortly thereafter.
It HS football on a Friday night.

Mostly, it's the Americans, the best and brightest from your Countries who came for the oppertunity to excell .. and did!

It's the way we do .. and you don't.

Just a bit overly nationalistic, don't you think?

And to be fair i think it is

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

I'm sure we're missing out on this one!

EDIT: Although I'll grant you The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
What does the U.N.C.L.E abbreviation stand for? That should tell everyone your age if you don't look it up.😵

Jammer is right. It was the best and brightest. Along with the hardest working. Our founding fathers were very intelligent men. They didn't come from Europes dumbest families.

And no, It's not overly nationalistic. It's just some of the finer things in life here that go unappreciated.

Edit: You forgot this part,

Keep your pomp, your storied lands.

I am a nationalist .. 100%, very proud of my Country.

All I did was point out some of the things I love about the USA.

I've traveled plenty .. it's the best education IMO. I've seen enough of the World to have an educated opinion about how different Countries match up to us.
Lots of really cool places to live and I won't argue with anyone who's happy and proud of there Country. I think you should be proud of where you are or else move somewhere you think you will be.

I piss on most of W. Europe because they've become so girly and fearfull. What happened to all the men? Did they go to University to become women? It's sad to watch.

Give me your poor (yet strong of spirit)
Your huddled masses yearning to breath free (and willing to work for it)
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore (those that will seize the opportunity)
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me (welfare slugs need not apply, but if you're hungry and willing to work .. welcome to Paradise)
I lift my lamp beside the golden door. (It's still open to those with the drive to succeed .. come on in)

The best thing about America is that when you go there on holiday you feel incredibly thin & thus have a beaming smile on your face for a week or so.
This may help explain why us Brits seem so charming.
