Of course people are mad about the debt ceiling crisis, but why didn't the democratic party vote 800 plus days ago.. for the very reasons you have listed, it was a political ploy, which I think really backfied on the dems......
The rating would have been left as is, if he tough cuts had been made, as the Tea Party had insisted on.
Oh, they're coming......

Well, we can debate the level of fault, but it does appear that the majority of Americans are placing the primary blame on the Republicans.

I think that more people are concerned about jobs than the deficit.

Congressional Democrats' numbers are up. It's looking like a large number of voters saw through the crap.

"Surging" is about a change in stats not a single stat on a given day. But I think you are well aware of that. Have Obama's stats been moving up?

Democrats Enjoy Slight Edge on 2012 Congressional Ballot

PRINCETON, NJ -- Gallup's first measure of the 2012 congressional elections shows Democrats leading Republicans, 51% to 44%, in registered voters' preferences for which party's candidate they would support in their district "if the elections for Congress were being held today."

You're the one quoting stats. And you're using the wrong kind of stats to refute the "surging" claim.
