On a side note (still relevant to Trump, or so I gather), I was working at a book store in Mankato, MN, at the start of the eighties, and a shipment of paperback romances came in for us to put in the racks. I was still rather naive at the time, but still somehow I wondered how it happened that one of the book's titles was allowed to be "Golden Showers".

I'm kinda busy right now with Rebecca Yarros' Empyrean series.

It's nothing compared to the sheer frustration coming from the right when America finally rejects all forms of Trumpian nonsense. Don't cry too hard when that happens. Plenty of psychological help out there, though, or so I hear.

You make such oblique jokes that even I don't get them.

Maybe similarly, the thing in the back of my head might suggest something to write that comes out of left field, but even then I'll check to see whether it actually follows on in any way from the most recent post or that and the ones before it.

And maybe I'll admit that in grade school sometimes my teachers would scold me for skipping a few steps and not showing my work.

But all of this is disrespectful, in that it does not adhere to the topic, sincerely and earnestly proposed in the OP.
