@eladar saidWhat are your babbling about? The state is not preaching to anyone about what’s moral, your moral judgements and my moral judgements along with the states moral judgements are irrelevant.
You are welcome to your opinion about what is moral and what is wrong. Just do not force it on others. The state should not be preaching what is immoral and what is not immoral, but you are free to "Bible thump" if you like.
If your against sex Ed in school then that’s another debate but given that there is sex Ed then all sexualities should be covered without moral judgements either way.
You really cannot formulate a coherent objection to it so why don’t you stop torturing yourself and just kick back and enjoy your own sexuality instead.

@eladar saidYour delusional you cannot have a grown up rational discussion on the subject because you really are a true believer in fairy tales whilst I’m agnostic by nature.
@kevcvs57
Obviously you are a true believer unable to have an open minded discussion. I have been perfectly clear and all you see is babbling. Rest sure in your self belief in knowing absolute truth, or as close to it that a person can be expected to achieve.
You are so clearly squirming around on the floor of ignorance and bigotry that it’s embarrassing.
Explain ‘again’ why educators not making a moral judgement about homosexuality is a moral judgement about homosexuality 😂😂
You and your fellow travellers are the only ones who want to force your moral judgements onto the minds of innocent children, you should be ashamed of yourself but you won’t be.

@eladar saidNo I actually do not care whether or not anyone agrees with me which makes you a bare faced liar.
@kevcvs57
I may disagree with how most people live, but I no problem with them living the way they want to live. You on the other hand believe in an authoritarian existance forcing everyone to agree with you.
This is the fundamental difference between the two of us. The rest is just opinion.
What you shouldn’t be able to do is use the education system to push and elevate your bigotry and homophobia.
If schools are going to teach sex Ed then they should just stick with the facts, if you want to push your evangelical Bible based version of morality on your own children you can do it in your own home and your own place of worship.
But NO gay child should be required to listen to your obnoxious views about them in the classroom and neither should their existence be ignored or their self worth undermined.

@kevcvs57 saidI did not say people had to agree with you, just a society value that agrees with you.

If you notice, I have said nothing that supports your claim that I want to use education to push and elevate my bigotry and homophobia. I think education should teach simply what is legal and that people are allowed to think for themselves and this means that people with disagree with you and that is ok. You, on the other hand, believe that education should be used to push your beliefs so that your morals are the ones pushed by society, aka the government and big business.
You need to make false claims because you have lost in this discussion. No other explanation.
@eladar saidWell, they seem to be abysmally failing on that last one.
The role of government?
Establish laws by which society functions. (determine what is legal)
Defend the nation's borders.
Provide for Infrustructure.
And I'm willing to bet you're against Biden's infrastructure plan.
By the way, what about the promises of the Preamble to the Constitution? Doesn't the government have an obligation to back up what it promises to us?
@suzianne saidThe govenment only has the responsibility to have the government treat everybody equally.

As for an infrastruture, it depends on what they are fixing. The US transportation system is in need of repair.
