Then invest more in solar and wind first. Don't tell people to buy electric vehicles.
Do you have a windmill and solar panels at your house? Why not? Can't you afford it?

I doubt they said that and if they did it is a lie. There are Tesla charging stations in Gaylord MI at the Meijer grocery store. How are they going to make them 100% solar?

You know, there's this joke about someone who sells lark pies. A delicacy, usually very expensive. He sells them for 3 dollars, though, and yet makes good money.
His friend gets suspicious and asks him about it. "Well," he says, "I do cheat a bit. It's not fully lark pie - it's fifty-fifty." "Fifty-fifty?" "Sure. For each lark I use in the filling, I add one bull."

By the same token, a car that goes a few miles on solar power and the rest of the journey on coal-fired electricity is not solar-powered or even solar-electric. It's mostly bull.

Solar power is not the only form of renewable energy; there are also wind turbines. I'm guessing the later is what Tesla will use.

I see you're still not answering the real questions.

One, Tesla says a lot, but what's their greenwashed reality?

Two, how many tenths of percents of this is actually solar-powered?
