Just informing MB since he doesn't think Tesla actually promised to have 100 percent renewable charging stations. They did say it.

Charging stations with 100 percent renewable power already exist.
"Tesla says it will power all Superchargers with renewable energy this year"
you find a couple and think you did something. LOL
@mott-the-hoople saidMB thought Tesla didn't say something. I showed he did. What goal posts were moved?

You make it pretty difficult to not you call a moron.

@shallow-blue saidThe thread is about green energy, not solar energy specifically. Either way, Tesla and other companies make continual strides toward cars that use !00% renewable energy.
I see you're still not answering the real questions.
One, Tesla says a lot, but what's their greenwashed reality?
Two, how many tenths of percents of this is actually solar-powered?
Does this fact make you guys upset? Instead of applauding such progress, you guys do everything in your power to mock and tear down such efforts. Why?
@mott-the-hoople saidThat quote does not say 100%

You are moving the goal post.
Tesla apparently plans for “all Supercharger energy to be 100% renewable in 2021.”
@metal-brain saidSo what? You claimed Tesla "never said" they planned to do this, remember? You were, as usual, wrong.
It is 2022 and it never happened. DUH!
@vivify saidNo. I said I doubted they said it and if they did it is a lie.
So what? You claimed Tesla "never said" they planned to do this, remember? You were, as usual, wrong.
I was right, it was a lie. It never happened.
Dude. I know there are no windmills in Gaylord MI and there is a Tesla charging station there. DUH!
@metal-brain saidFailing to reach a goal doesn't make it a "lie". The point is that they are seeking to make it happen.

Besides, 100 percent renewable charging stations already exist:

So there's no reason Tesla can't follow suit as well.

Am I supposed to be impressed? How many exist?
Open minds exist, but it doesn't mean you have one.
My point is that you are putting the cart before the horse. You need to clean up electric power before endorsing EVs. The batteries are made with a heavy carbon footprint and they don't last. Depending on where they are made they can produce more carbon than a diesel car. Since most of them come from China where they burn coal for energy that is certainly the case now.
You are misguided by green rhetoric that makes no sense. Clean up the electric power first.
@vivify saidThen why are you insisting on Musky-boy providing you with a solar-powered car?
The thread is about green energy, not solar energy specifically.
Instead of applauding such progress,
And that's the point. Your, and Musky-boy's, press cuttings are getting in the way of real progress.
@vivify saidIt's now 2022.
