What I dont understand is why your debating on the other side then? is it because you dont want to disagree with your liberal friends?
If you don't understand, you're stupider than I thought.

Call it "lefty libertarianism"; a belief in a limited government primarily created to protect fundamental individual rights. Got it from the Framers. However, I don't mind the government protecting people from the vagaries of the economic system which is primarily a state contrivance, so the strict libertarians aren't for me.
Oh...I thought previously you said "consistent" political philosophy.

You mean "more stupid than you thought", right counselor? The judge and court audience may conclude that the use of the phrase "stupider" by an educated lawyer is the result of one being in a stupor....😉

Be thankful that the Americans perceive it to be their God given right to carry a gun with which to kill each other, thereby raising the Average IQ of the world on a daily basis.

We had a guy here recently kill his wife after she refused to give him the TV remote so he could watch a sport show on TV. He killed her by smacking her in the head with a claw hammer 77 times.

Should we ban all claw hammers too? How about ball peen hammers?

Nobody is claiming that gun control will stop those who are truly determined to kill someone, but I really don't think all hot-blooded gun murders will result in a whipping out of the old claw hammer, if that gun is not within reach.

That would only raise the IQ level in Howardgee's neighborhood....

And, as people were asking earlier, same sex marriage and drugs and stuff: IT IS OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO CARRY GUNS.

For those in this discussion who aren't americans: keep your nose out of our business. THe last thing we need is you fag europeans telling us what we can and can't do.

With this sort of attitude you are no safe to carry a gun.

I don't like to to poke my nose into another countries affairs so far be it from me to tell Americans how to run their lives.

But it stands to reason if you take out the gun from society fewer people will get shot. If you would prefer more people to get shot don't support gun control.

Thats about like saying "But it stands to reason if you take out cars from society fewer people will get killed in wrecks. If you would prefer more people to wreck, don't support the banning of cars".

A person can prefer that people dont get shot, and still be againts gun control

I have never wanted to kill another human in my life. But, when I served in Iraq, I have been shot at, and I have shot at others. You may think it is a bit safer for me to carry a gun, when I can hit the bastard trying to kidnap your son or daughter, when you can not.

Oh, and yes, stay out of american politics. If you prefer not to carry a gun, then don't. But, when someone tries to attack one of your family, you should know there is more you can do to stop it, with a gun in hand.

Just like a liberal. You know he is right, so you try and discredit him by calling him stupid and pointing out grammatical errors.
